For the multiplayer series, UT has been a little better. UT came with a lot more play modes right out of the box, whereas Quake III had to have an add on. Both games were a blast, though. But then UT also had 2004. Guess we'll see when UT3 and ET: Quake Wars come out.

When Unreal first came, I remember everyone raving about the graphics. For the time, it was a really good looking game. But the campaign wasn't so great beyond that. In particular, I didn't care for the repetitive structure of each area. Each group of levels seemed to unfold in roughly the same manner. It didn't take long to realize that they also could have pretty much been in any order, too.

Unreal 2 was rather mediocre. A follow up to the original game would have been more interesting than the set of bland characters we got. Some of the levels were neat, though. I found the first two Quake games to be fairly solid, if not all that exciting. I haven't played though much of Quake IV. The game was rather unambitious and had a lot of the qualities I'm getting tired of in many of the recent shooters.

I don't read it daily anymore, but it's a great comic. I also like some of various books by Scott Adams, like the Dilbert Principle. Dilbert ranges from hilarious to depressing depending on how close it is to what I'm going through at work at the time. It's scarily accurate at times.

I've always used inverted, except for back when normal was what inverted is now. It just feels more natural after playing so many flight sims. It's also more like how the head moves.

The 360 and PS3. I'm toying with the idea of getting either a Wii or a handheld, as well.

Well, I've moved into the "maybe" column on Two Worlds. I'm getting less enthused everytime the release date is pushed back.

I mainly use it as a Blu-Ray player and for PS2 games, lately.

Well, a large problem with bringing the game to the 360 would be how to handle the interface. It'd pretty much require a keyboard. You can have 5 toolbars on screen (the main one plus four optional extra toolbars), plus pet commands for Warlocks and Hunters. The combat is also fast paced enough, using context menus on the controller would be a pain.

EQOA used a sort of workaround with a submenu for accessing certain pet commands, as well as a bar you could cycle through to select commands, but it was a poor substitute for a keyboard/mouse combo. That seems to be mainly what's holding Blizzard back from what I've read.

I've heard that you can find a newer 360 now. I'd definitely get one as there's a lot of great stuff coming out this fall, starting with Bioshock today.

Halo 3 and probably Heavenly Sword for the PS3. I might pick up MoH: Airborne depending on how good it turns out. But I'm not getting my hopes up as I'm starting to get burnt out on WW2 shooters, and the only MoH game I've really cared for was Allied Assault on the PC.

I mainly pre-order to make sure there's a copy of the game reserved for me. Though, I've been lucky in a lot of cases where I didn't. Like Halo 2. The store I went to (which was an all media store) had a whole cart full of copies that weren't pre-orders on the day of release.

It's also convenient for smaller titles where the store might not carry many otherwise.
