A nerd-tastic lineup, to be sure. Let's hear what you think.

I actually thought it was really enjoyable, though don't expect a lot of originality. The demo plays just like UT2004, includes one additional vehicle (the Hellfire, which was not that great, IMO) and a hoverboard to get players outside vehicles across the map in reasonable time.
I'm not sure what everyone else was expecting, seeing as how UT and UT 2003/2004 were not that different either, except a couple play modes and some vehicles.
If you're looking for a fast-paced FPS with incredible graphics, it's definitely worth playing.
I'd go with a Razor myself because Logitech mice have a habit of making my hand hurt after a while.zeus_gb
Razer mice are all wired, and I need a wireless. If I did go with a wired mouse, though, that'd be the one.

I'm thinking Microsoft would not want to miss out on the profits of selling Halo 3 as a standalone, but wouldn't it be even better to increase market share through console sales and eat the cost of Halo 3 to secure future revenues?
Maybe I'm missing something, but Nintendo and Sega both had excellent luck bundling some of their best titles with the systems. There's nothing wrong with the two great games they picked, but some people might not like racing games and others not superhero games, and they're stuck with a game they don't like. Halo 3 seems to be a console-defining game.
I'm curious what others think.

Depending on your location, you could go used with a Tube HDTV from Craig's List or even EBay. I got a fantastic 34" Sony HDTV that is still the best looking TV I have ever seen for only $500 (though it does weigh about 200lbs).
Used HDTV FTW.
