They can put it on 10 discs for all I care. Or 6 installs (PS3). point is, this game will rock regardless.xsubtownerx
I agree with this. FF13 should rock indeed. Unless its like FF12 though... I didn't like FF12.

[QUOTE="Couth_"]It will be at least 4 discs. The Last Remnant uses the games engine for cut scenes. FFXIII, like Lost Odyssey, will use CGI. And it will use a lot of itToriko42
Using a game engine for cutscenes take up more space then CGI

Hmmm. I always thought it was the other way around. Perhaps I was wrong. Edit: Hmm other people seem to agree with me. Perhaps I wasn't wrong after all.

I'd say the idea of Mii's was an innovation by Nintendo, but what Microsoft and Sony are doing with Avatars and Home is an evolution of that idea. So yeah, Avatars and Sony's Home characters are better because they have more customization which makes sense due to the fact that they came out later which gave them the chance to expanded on an existing idea.

I never noticed 10 minute installs on fable 2 or GoW2, all games have loading times but its the forced install that sux on the ps3, this is an optional one to help speed things up. And its a one time thing unlike the ps3, I believe this rips the entire game so you dont even need the cd.savagetwinkie
Nah you will still have to put the disc in to start up the game. Otherwise people could just rent a game from someplace and install it to the harddrive and they'd have themselves a $5 game. MS isn't gonna let that happen.

Yeah I agree the matchmaking is horrible. I mean matchmaking in my opinion is the lamest thing to ever be implemented in an online game. (I believe Halo 2 was the first.) Why would I want to have the game choose -or in Gears 2's case, vote- on what map/gametype is played. I wanna play the gametype I want, on the map I want, when I want. Its that simple. The way Gears 1 had online setup was perfect. Why they decided to change it I dunno, but matchmaking in any game completely ruins the online experience for me. Thankfully the rest of the game (campaign & horde) rules but seriously if they don't do something to change how the online is setup I won't be playing it for very long. Unfortunately I don't expect that to happen though.

Yeah thats a great score, but honestly I'm expecting this to be another one of those love it or hate it games. There will be those who welcome the change to the gameplay while others just wanted more of the old Banjo gameplay and I'm guessing the reviews will reflect that. Fortunately for me I played the demo and loved it so regardless I'll be picking this one up.

Meh. I don't really care which scores better. All I know is both will be awesome and I will be having a great time playing them.

Yeah the game is basically the beta just with more maps. Its pretty clear to me the game was rushed to hit its shipping date. I mean the servers weren't prepared - although they are quite a bit better now- and theres a still glitches found in the beta that were never fixed. Not to mention some missing features such as Trophies and the Matchmaking party system the back of the box and manual claims it has aren't available. No doubt these things will be corrected via a patch in the future. Its just a shame it wasn't ready at launch cause the gameplay is really good plus I'm liking the map selection. Its just all the small things that add up to hurt the game. If only it was delayed maybe another month or so I'd think it would have had a shot at AA. Still I think just about any SOCOM fan will dig this game regardless of its score, you just might wanna wait for the patch to come out before you buy.

[QUOTE="CAlNlAC"]re, but instead of crying I always wondered why we couldn't just use a Phoenix Down item on her and bring her back to life l ike all the other times someone died. Nirron

Well, I thought that the usual explanation is that you are unconscious rather than actually dead. A Phoenix Down is bringing them back to consciousness...kind of like getting them up from being comatose.

Anyway, I guess I have played FFVII way too many times. When he said crossdressing in HD, I was partially thinking trolling, and then I quickly remembered the Wall Market part, infiltrating the Don's house.

Yeah I guess that could be the case. I just always figured they were dead when their HP hit 0. Anyway to stay on topic. Maybe they'll just port over the original FFVII to Xbox Live Arcade or something. That would be kinda cool if its possible to do so. Just imagine the achievement possibilities. Mmmmm fun.
