I've played through Final Fantasy VII many times, great for it's time, doesn't hold up well to todays standards. The story is completely laughable, and extremely inconsistent.

If you ask me, the story is pretty damn good. I also play through the game pretty much every year on my PC. And who didn't shed a tear when Aeris died?

there is Matchmaking it is one of the major new features they worked on but still hasn't been shown.

The only thing I know is that it is very similar to Halo 3's set up and players get two options before the match and they vote for the one they want. But that is the only info so far.

Ha! With the budget of these games I think we deserve better than boring-mediocre, annoying, and rabbit-eared characters, and a fair story.

Please shut up. FFXII was a fantastic game, if it wasn't it would have gotten average reviews...just the story was weak. I guess that's whats most important to FF fanboys but the battle system is amazing, hopefully they do another game like this with a better story.

FF12 was the worst in the series. Time to come to grips. We need a FF game with a story this time.
