Edge card costs you around 10 dollars but it does save you 10% on used titles. Also, from what I recall, you can't get them to ship it from other stores as the ones that are in my area just tell me to go to the other. They will on the other hand call the other store to check for the item you want.
[QUOTE="Alaris83"]Well considering that people still fanatically play the original Starcraft, almost ten years later, I think some hype is to be expected.mikeneb430
ok but what is so special about it? What sets it apart from other RTSs?
When it was released, most RTS makers always had issues with balancing the different sides. Starcraft came extremely close to this, while making the 3 races completely different gameplay style. Plus, the storyline allowed you to get into the game and actually feel like you were making a difference. Something that most games of that time laid to the side.
Rock You Like a Hurricane by the Scorpions gets my vote!GS16
I was thinking the same thing but was hoping that Guitar Hero 2 would have it.
[QUOTE="jfelisario"][QUOTE="Bozanimal"][QUOTE="jfelisario"]Nobody likes Vista. Except for 40 million users.jfelisario
If you bought a PC, you had little other choice. Vista was the only option for most new PCs sold in 1Q07 (and today). Saying 40 million people bought Vista is like saying 40 million people bought gas for their car. It's not like they had a choice, it's the only option available.
Yes, Dell made XP available. But Vista is still the default option, and all their new business PCs come loaded with Vista.
My personal experience with Vista was poor. My father bought a laptop that came preloaded with Vista. Every time you hit a button it seemed a popup would appear to ask you if you had actually started the program. The system crashed numerous times due to problems with the security software (Norton). It was slow to boot versus XP.
I'm not a Microsoft hater, I like XP, I just think Vista borders on extortion.
That's the point of my comment, its not to say all those guys loved the OS, which was practically shoved in their face for the lack of rolling back to XP unless they bought a retail cd of it, or the pc builders who were gracious enough to defy M$ demand to cease XP installations into their systems.
I love the OS btw, but that doesn't mean that it should become the only choice in the market, especially if people are more inclined to the likes of Linux and its variants.
Hmm, the thing about Linux is that it is free. Thus, people who want can easily download it and install it. And if they don't know how to install it, they shouldn't be at it in the first place.
