Well at first no the PS3 didn't have any waiver; however they did update their TOS, that added that. So the PS4 will probably have a similar one. Just another thing that MS copied from Sony.

Does it really matter in the long run? How many people will play these "Free" to play games and not have PS+, if you are going to play PlanetSide 2 I am sure you'll have PS+ for Killzone and other online games.

One thing that PC gaming will have over the PS4 and Xbox One is free online play (for non-MMOs).

I haven't watched him in a while but I do agree with pretty much all his points. Right now unless something wows me at E3 I may skip this next gen for some time, and just focus on the PC.
