@SwatterXX: You do get the items. The article is wrong on that part. It only uses regular pokeballs so you don't waste your good ones. It's been very successful for me so far.

@Iconoclysm: It doesn't leave the screen on. Not sure where you got that from.

This information isn't correct. I got pokestop items without opening my phone. Additional information: it only uses regular pokeballs. So if you're out and all you have left are greats or ultras, you won't waste them with the plus. I see this as a good thing.

So far, it's been working very well for me. I've caught several pokemon at the click of a button while at my desk and while in my car. It actually detects pokemon a little further out than the app does. If you have the app open, it will even show a line from the plus icon to the pokemon that's nearby, even if it's not displayed in game yet. The plus allows you to catch it without walking closer.

Your journal will tell you everything that happened with the plus, like stop items, pokemon you caught or if they ran away.

So far, I'm very happy with the plus.

@Thanatos2k: Doesn't the fact that Nintendo hasn't released any specs put them at an advantage? Other companies have revealed specs, now they're committed to them. Nintendo can adjust the specs if they want and put themselves ahead since they're not committed to anything yet. I personally doubt Nintendo will do that, but I don't see how they've blown anything.

@Greyfox-101: In which case it would be exactly as I said, just another action adventure game. It's the overall story that sets it apart from most games.

@biggamerdude: Not sure what that's in response to. I'm actually agreeing with you and I think the movie will be pretty good. I was responding to RogerioFM who's just a troll.

@Hurvl: I completely agree. It's unfortunate, really, since the present day story is the most interesting part of the game. I'm guessing this is why they're making it the main focus of a theatrical presentation.

@RogerioFM: The most interesting part of the game. While fun and beautifully recreated, the memory sequences are just an action adventure game. Without the modern day conspiracy, the memories are disjointed, uninteresting and not very unique.

@RogerioFM: I can say you're wrong also, and we can go back and forth repeating it over and over like children. Welcome to the internet.

@AGx07: If you kept it to the past timelines only, then all that happens is these artifacts get lost in time, never to be seen again. Real interesting. The present timeline recovers these artifacts and utilizes them for technology and reveals the entire backstory of the first civilization which is way more interesting than the past timelines on their own. For the most part, the past timelines tell us history that we already know.
