I'm really looking foward to The Division. I'm also interested in The Repopulation. I'm currently playing Darkfall Unholy Wars and it's a fun PvP game but it needs work and more of a population, it's got some nice updated in the past couple of months though.

I think it's fine as long as the game is balanced around it. Often times when games try to throw in a ton of players it just end up being a mess with no teamwork involved, having smaller teams makes teamwork easier IMO.
As mentioned we need to know if you need all the peripherals with that budget before we recommend anything.
I've had a lot of problems running the Mass Effect series and Dragon Age on my windows 8 PC.
They weren't really performance issues, it was more of the games failing to start up and requiring that I rename folders and such, but I do know those games can be weird with Windows 8.
But to answer your question that is not normal for PC gaming. 99% of the time I just install the game, make sure the video setting are how I like them to get the FPS I want and I play it with now hassle.
Everything will work together but that PSU needs to go. The makers of that PSU in your case is Deer and they are known for making cheap PSU's that go out with a bang and sometimes even take other components out with them.
All in all if the case is still good it's still not a bad deal to get a $50 case, don't use the PSU though either order a new one or just go pick one up at a local store.
Everyone has different opinions. I found the Killing Floor to be really boring but I fell in love with the L4D series. So many great nights playing with and against friends and trying to survive on expert. The co-op and MP were top notch.
Check out Rogue Legacy (http://store.steampowered.com/app/241600/) it's on sale right now on steam for $5 and has everything your looking for.
I enjoy Trackmania every now and then, not really huge into racing games though.
I'm a huge Fallout fan so my vote goes to New Vegas. I put 100's of hours into that game. It's got a really interesting story and a huge world to explore. I always like a good post apocalyptic setting over fantasy.
That being said you can't really go wrong with any of the games on that list, although I wasn't too impressed with Dead Space 2. Do you wanna start something that will take you 50+ hours or are you looking for a shorter more linear game?
So.... i want to hear more about the alpha, not see this stupid arguing between idiots who relentlessly hate and idiots who relentlessly defend. Its an alpha, people are going to pay for it, get over it. I'm thinking about buying this game, so can i please get some opinions on it without having to surf through all these internet tough guys flame wars?
I played it a bit more.
So far it's fun, not a ton of bugs though I did crash once. I found a melee weapon (a screw driver haha) and killed a couple of zombies. Loot seems hard to come by but I was mainly in coastal towns near the spawn areas so they may have been already looted (the doors were all open). The atmosphere is great there's all kinds of weird creaks and wind howling. You can also find a different clothing in with various states of decay and they give you different amounts of storage which I thought was cool (a found some cargo pants which of course gave me more pockets for items).
Performance wise the game does very good, it's much smoother then the mod ever was on my computer.
Like I said earlier I'm impressed with the engine and the core of the game, they just need to keep adding more content and clean it up.
I'll try to play a bit more and get farther along.
