I noticed Titanfall has been a hot topic on these forums, thought this is an interesting twist.

Personally I'm not sure if it will be a good game or not but I think a large beta (if the rumors are true it will be open to pre-orders) will be good for the game.

Thoughts?

Do PC gamers not know what an alpha is anymore?

In the game's steam page the developer even warns people NOT to buy the game because it's unfinished and glitchy.

None of the bugs, lack of content, performance issues should be to surprising.

How do you even compare those two games?

Arma is a large scale, sandbox war simulator and Titanfall is an arena FPS set in the future with mech. They are two very different games.

I would guess people care about the game because they think it looks fun...just a guess...

No, I was referring to how smooth everything flows like movement and aiming, just my opinion.

What games are "mind-blowingly" better? The market is pretty empty when it comes to sci-fi shooters.

It looks fun to me. CoD has some of the best controls and feel out of any FPS (it better since it hasn't changed in 6 years haha) and if their combining that with fast paced futuristic gadgets and mechs then I'll give it a go.

I don't really understand the complaining about the AI, MOBA's have done it with great success in the competitive gaming community, I don't see why it couldn't be implemented in FPS's or at least why people wouldn't be willing to try it.

I feel like most the hate in this thread is just from PC elitist and EA haters, but I guess we'll see how it is in a couple of months.

Check out Rift, is simple, F2P, and a pretty solid MMO.

Planetside 2 has some good battles in it, its free to play as well.

I'm keeping my eye on it, I really like the concept but that's the problem, all we have is a concept. It's hard to get excited when there is no gameplay.

Whats your budget and do you have any of the peripherals (monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc).
