Arma 3 is out if you liked the 2nd.

Star Wars Battlefront 1 and 2 are also close to what your looking for.

Not surprising, another pc classic ruined by cross platforming to the lowest common denominator.

I agree it sucks to see great games dumbed down, but it's not consoles faults, it's just gamers in general.

You may view PC gamers as having better taste but every new CoD/AAA remake still seems to top the Steam sales for weeks-months.

Gaming isn't just for the hardcore anymore, and unfortunately developers are willing to sacrifice what made their games special for more sales.

7 Days to Die early access alpha has been $35 since it started on Steam months ago. Tons of people jumped onboard for what many defend as a "pre-order" with the extra benefit of early access, a chance to help test the game, and typically a discount of full price.

In return for paying this company $35 to test their alpha release the price has just been reduced to $25 with a big "**** you" message to everyone who paid $35 attached to it.

This is an example of why this early access shit is bad for pc gaming, I guarantee this will not be the last of it.

I don't see how this has anything to do with the early access debate. Any game you buy will be cheaper later down the road.

It's a dick move buy the devs for sure.

I'm a PC gamer as well...but 1440p on a $700 PC? I'm calling BS.

Also why the hell are your trying to start a system war in the Titanfall forums? They already have a "System Wars" section for you trolls to measure dicks on go there.

I played a couple of rounds and it was fun, but I can't see myself playing it too long.

IMO it lacks depth, I was hoping it would have a MOBA feel to it but it just feels like a shooter with mechs and parkour. That being said it is a well done shooter so I'm sure it will sell good but I probably won't be spending $60 on it.

I also can't stand the fact they added a lock on pistol as a primary...

There's no need to lie about getting an Xbox One key, just go to to EA live chat on your origin account (you'll wait in a que for ~40 minutes) and politely ask them for beta access. I did this an hour ago and the nice customer service guy added it to my account.

I just got into the beta and let me just say I'm really surprised and a little let down by the graphics quality.

I was hoping to try it out with my GTX470 even though it was old (but just the day before it died, artifacting and everything) so I had to revert to my really old 8800GTS (512) and WTF at the game...

A 7yr old GPU is running the game at 1200p with a mix of medium and low, most options are medium, just the texture and something else is low, and at 60fps... I was expecting all low at 30fps or something.

Is the source engine really that good?

tl:dr

7yr old GPU running game at 60fps on medium

So your disappointed the game runs well?

It's like if a PC gamer can't run a game it's un-optimized and if a game runs great it has bad graphics haha. But seriously the game does run on a dated engine. I expect it to look clean but not to look amazing.

@Croag821: @ribstaylor1: Yeah I know I hit max level in Gw2 but there isnt much of an end game other than WvW

and Yeah I know thats what I should probably just spend the $15 but Idk how if ESO is good or bad yet and Is WoW worth playing alone?

I can't really say much for ESO as the NDA is still up. If you enjoy themepark MMO's then WoW is probably worth it, it's been the unbeatable MMO king for years now and is filled with content, it also has a trial so check it out if you haven't.

Rift is a WoW like MMO that is free, there is also Age of Conan and Lord of the Rings Online.

Honestly though if your into MMO's and plan to play often then just spend the $15 a month and get one you really want to play. If your going to spend 100's of hours playing it then it will be worth it.

I'm not a huge fan of buying at the beginning and waiting for each episode. For the walking dead game I just waited until all the episodes were out for the season and bought it then, that's what I plan to do with the wolf among us.

That being said I don't really have a problem with them doing that, it allows people who want to play each episode ASAP to do it, and people like me to wait, there's not really a downside IMO.
