No regenerating health + one bullet can kill = Excellent. Not a game catered for ADHD COD players. Finally.

[QUOTE="D4W1L4H"]What is this? Who writes these articles? Can anyone submit an article? Moreover, can I submit an article?DarkLink77
Yeah, you can. Just PM anyone on the staff, and if it's a good article, we'll publish it.

Excellent. I've been pissed off at Humble Bundle pretty lately. :twisted: Extortion at its finest.

[QUOTE="D4W1L4H"][QUOTE="casharmy"]

So in other words everything you wrote was worthless!

I only wrote that because Xenoblade, and maybe a few others, we're the only good JRPG's this gen. Mind you, Xenoblade might just be the greatest JRPG I've ever played. The rest of them were a disgrace to the name.

What does being "good" or not have to do with being a JRPG?

I just don't like the stero-types. It's nothing wrong with criticizing a game/s but I am trying to get past the silly arguments. Xenoblade breaks many of the JRPG stero-types people use to define what a JRPG can and can not be yet it is a JRPG, is it not? If so then you should think about that and realize that a JRPG can be anything the developer wants it to be.

I never said that JRPG's have to be good in order to classify, I just outlined the deterioration of JRPG's this gen, as we only got a few traditional JRPG's which stay true to their predecessors. Now they're mostly crappy anime sh*t. Xenoblade is what JRPG's traditionally aimed for. In essence, it's just an RPG made in Japan, no question. But my beef is that they are no longer what they used to be.

[QUOTE="D4W1L4H"]Before: Epic mix of story/gameplay driven experiences which are quite distinctive in nature from Western counter parts. Often putting you into the shoes of a pre-existing character, rather than offer complete control. Made in Japan. Now: Kids with colorful hair dancing while killing monsters and whatnot. (Minus Xenoblade)

[QUOTE="D4W1L4H"][QUOTE="Haziqonfire"]I'd rather have interesting hardware design with a philosophy/focus on certain aspects than just better hardware. Better hardware without anything interesting means you're getting a console that tries to be like a low end PC but fails. It's boring.nameless12345

I agree wholeheartedly with this statement. I fully endorse consoles to go back to being consoles.

But if you look at consoles prior to DS and Wii you'd notice that they innovated only a little on the controller part. The GBA had a single screen and the GameCube had a "normal" controller, yet they both produced impressive graphics for their time (the DS and Wii not so much).

What do you mean? Every gen introduced a new standard in the interface department. Third gen consoles made the D-pad a standard feature. Fourth gen consoles made shoulder buttons a standard feature. Fifth gen consoles made Analog sticks/Rumble the standard feature. Sixth gen consoles introduced Analog triggers Seventh gen consoles introduced motion with the wiimote/six axis. And later, Move and Kinect. I can safely say that the eighth gen consoles will introduce Dual screen interface as the standard. They were all technically gimmicks when they were introduced.

The floor plan of this years Games developers conference (set for March 5th) has apparently leaked onto NeoGaf: Nintendo has invested in quite a sizable booth, not only that, it's located near the entrance. Why do you guys think? Will there be more MEGATONS!? Or just a sum up of everything we already know?

The price difference doesn't matter to me.

Buy both. It's worth it.
