I know of it but I've no interest in it. On an inferior platform so it's not going to meet my standards. Sure they can port it but I doubt they'll be able to up the quality to something more fitting.

PC users might settle for it i certainly wont.

Inferior Platform..how so?

The game is awesome, not to everyone's tastes but for me a very memorable experience. Just travelling the wastes is creepy enough but then when you finally arrive at some remote locations with weird 'things' running around and you have to go underground...some of the best 'goose-bump-stimulating' moments ever!

I truly dont know if the world wide gap between the 360 and PS3 is getting bigger or smaller. What is evident is that overall, the gaps isnt changing much. At this moment in time, I find it hard to see the PS3 catching the 360 at all this gen. Of course, I'm not an analyst or an expert on the matter so its merely my opinion.

Guess what.....you can do all that on a PC. Big Screen, Couch, controllers, etc. And you act like sitting in a chair is extremely uncomfortable and bad for your back.

CBR600-RR

Guess what, there aint many games to play on PC with friends. What about Warhawk, The Warriors, Champions, Kung Fu Fists Of Plastic? And many more.
And I'd rather slouch on a bean bag rather than sit on a pc chair.

I'm not trying to be rude but do you always struggle with comprehension?

You've already been told countless times that:

  • you can plug multiple 360 controllers into a PC
  • many games support it
  • Can use Xpadder for absolutely any game that do not
  • this means you can sit on a couch/ beanbag etc
  • you can plug a pc into ANYTHING you can plug a console into...yes even a plasma TV lol

PC has many more online games than warhawk...Battlefield 2, Teamfortress 2, Battlefield 2142, Couner Strike etc etc there are tons lol PC gaming invented online gaming

I even use game-jackal, so once I have installed a game I dont need to swap disks, I sit on my couch, put my feet up and game away without the need to get offf my backside to change games. PC is the ultimate 'lazy-persons' experience! 8)

PC makes PS3 games look a few gens behind. But hey, gameplay is what matters... right?

Damn, PC has that, too.

ZoomZoom2490

the only thing that pc offers is higher res, that's it. there is nothing on pc that shows talent, just cuz devs have $500 dollar gpu's and use all that for resolution dont mean a thing.

You think GPUs only increase resolution?

ZoomZoom, I'll explain it to you. GPUs allow you to have higher resolution textures, more detailed bump/normal mapping, specular maps, lighting, reflections, more polygons being rendered at any given time, more lighting, HDR, physics, larger open world environments, AA and AF...the best ones push all of these to the maximum on current games...oh and yes you're right, they allow you to play and view all these effects at resolutionshigher than even true-HD.

i find it lame when people say PS3 exclusives got the best graphics on consoles otheres say PS3 exclusives costs alot of maney to make and they are not worth it but isnt that good for us consumeres that means Sony doasnt mind paying alot of money to make great games to please PS3 owners so thats a good point in Sony why everyone look at it as a bad point.

Kashiwaba

Hope you're not referring to me, because I very much believe Sony deserves credit for this and so do the developers such as Guerilla Games. Recognition should be given to the talent of the developers, the commitment of Sony to support them and their unflinching attitude to cater for gamers and not casuals.

It's mostly from developer skill to be able to produce games that look as good as Killzone 2, MGS4, etc.

Jekken6

This.

Sony has some very talented first party developers who are well backed by Sony and given plenty of investment and time to bring great games to the system. Its Sony's backing not really the hardware.

It's likely you could see the same production values on the 360. The 48 unified shaders of the xenos are no pushover.

[QUOTE="Nedemis"][QUOTE="Chutebox"] Of course it's silly, but Forza 2's "damage" system isn't something to be bragging about either.Chutebox

I don't recall "bragging" about it. You're the one who brought it up. :|

In every single **** GT thread there are Forza fanboys bragging about it. You know, how you brought up the usual bumper cars crap?

There is nothing wrong with the Forza 2 damage system. Its not as comprehensive as some PC racer sims but there is a lot of detail to it, if you damage the front left suspention slightly, the system simulates the resulting performance for the car. You can write the car off completely if you take a corner wrong etc. There is nothing really that you could criticise it on lol.

There is no reason NOT to brag about it, just because you 'say' its nothing to brag about doesnt make it so lol

[QUOTE="stylesPS3"] i cannot begin to believe where you guys come up with this stuff. seriously. but so i dont sound arrogant, could you please prove that good sir? :) I WOULD LOOOOOOVE TO SEE IT.stylesPS3

Well the first indication would be that I've played both GT4 and GT5: P, and GT5: P's driving model is as good, if not better than GT4's.

But since we're on SW, a place where "in your opinion" is considered an acceptable rebuttle, from GS's GT5: P review:

Gran Turismo 5 Prologue is a good simulation for PlayStation 3 driving enthusiasts who have a penchant for exotic cars. It doesn't veer from the course set by its predecessors and still features top-notch driving, accurately recreated vehicles and tracks, and a good learning curve that forces you to step up your game as you progress.

Furthermore, the only complaints are some multiplayer issues and the lack of content.

how did i know you would post something completely irrelevant? your statement was Prologue gameplay is same as GT. now if we were the chart this out just in case you didnt understand what you said, this would mean GT2P gameplay = GT2 GT3P = GT3 GT4P = GT4 GT5P = your "inference" GT5 now based on this, what doesnt make sense is why you are talking about GT4 and GT5P in the same sentence. could you please help me out here? im really lost i have no idea what your trying to do or say so plz clarify.

We've seen damage modelling and physics from the Forza series, we know where the bar has been set and have since been given more demonstrations of gameplay.

We don't know much of GT5s damage modelling and physics because they were not present in prologue.

Its that simple! lol
