Today many good things happened!

I breezed through school today turning in old school/homework that's been troubling me.

I'm a library aide in my school, so I get to help all sorts of people with their problems. I entered the library and the librarian I work for gave me a book he mistakenly ordered for me to keep! It's pretty cool.

Then, he told me that some people needed help putting up the letters on a billboard at the front of the school. So I tried it, and put it all up perfectly on my first time trying it, in record time! The teacher watching me was very impressed, and gave me a bunch of the school's currency (used to buy cool things at certain times in the year).

After that, I had a friend come over and played Crysis and Team Fortress 2 with him for hours.

Pretty cool day :P

Today a lot happened... basically.

'The Office' returned after 5 months tonight. It was a good episode.

I have been playing Crisis Core constantly again! I really don't want to post my stats though, so basically I'm level 45, about 35% missions complete, and about 20,000 HP with a +460% HP + +.

I finally saw Yu-Gi-Oh! The Abridged Series today, and got to almost the newest episode. It's pretty funny. I think I'll finish it up tonight.

I'm not a very good union-ee. I'm never active on most of them. The only places I do hang around on GameSpot are the forums, the game forums, and user pages. I'm not one for unions.

So I finally resigned from 5 unions I've never bothered with. I'm still in WAY too many unions, though.

No offense to the leaders of these unions, some of which I may know!

My family has had a DVR for a few years now, and I've had one for many months, too.

Just today, I caught my sister watching an old favorite movie of ours, and asked her what channel it was on, only for her to say it was on-demand. I said, "Doesn't that cost money?", and she responded, "They have free stuff, too".

So right now I'm checking it out, watching a movie for free that I've been looking for our copy of for a long time.

It's just like digital movie rental. Except they have free movies. It's pretty cool. :)

For quite some time, these games have been bothering me by not being in my collection:

Assassin's Creed (PC April 9th)

-If these people don't screw up this game like they infamously did to another (I'm drawing a blank here), this is a must-have for me. I absolutely love sandbox type action-adventure-puzzleish games like this!

Unreal Tournament 3

-I have EVERY other Unreal/Tournament game, except the sucky 2003, which isn't worth my time. 2004 is the best, and it's an amazing game, and I want badly to play this new game in the series! I've played it and seen it played many times, and I must say it exceeds expectations. Now that I have a quad-core, my PC can handle it. I'm downloading the demo as we speak! Not that I need any convincing, in my time playing it I was blown away.

World in Conflict

-If it's as good as all the scores it's been given, and as actiony, I definitely want a piece of it.

Gears of War

-It's a violent, gory, chainsaw-on-an-SMG shooter! What else could I want? Amazing graphics? Oh, wait.

UPDATE: I have the demo installed, and it's great! It runs flawlessly at max settings on my PC!

Now the only one left is to play a game with 7 friends... and with my group, that'll be a lot easier. It just needs to grow in membership... so join! :P

Now that that's out of the way, here's some cool stuff that happened recently:

-I got the flamethrower achievement!! I now have only two achivements and I have them all (10 SG kills, currently 9, and 7 friends in one game)!

-I went to OMSI just for old-times sake, saw an OMNIMAX movie (huge spherical screen), and toured the submarine that was in the move The Hunt for Red October.

-Track started at my school two days ago! I'm interested in long-distance running and long jumps.

-I started my first Steam group today, The Dark Cow, and though I knew I'd regret the name (alternate would be The Spy Hideout) I created it anyway. It has 5 members right now. So... join!

-I got a Plasma Flasher thingy I've always wanted! Here's a grainy, badly colored picture someone took (It's much more red than that):

-My sister's friend boy had his cell phone stolen :( They tried calling it, and here's an approximate transcript:

*rings*

Thieves: "Hello?" (spanish)

Friend Boy: "Can I have my phone back?"

Thieves: (in background) "Hang up! Just hang up!"

*dial tone*

He's going to have his plan cancelled, and hopefully if we have a cash reward for it back they'll just return it. :

1. I prefer to sleep on my face over my back. I tend to lay flat on my stomach with my face off on its side.

2. I am a cat person, always have been.

3. I have a hard time using insensitive mice. It annoys me. My mouse is the most sensitive in existance :D

4. I don't like desserts very well in general, but certain ones I like.

5. My door has a hole in it that I made with my foot. :?

Now all my GS friends have been tagged, so I may have to be creative with my new targets- I mean, victims. :P

I put the Orange Box into my now fully functional PC, and it works! I got two new achievements in Team Fortress 2 to prove it!

I haven't had a single hitch at all. No slowdown whatsoever.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I haven't eaten in five hours since it installed. :D
