Happy May Day! <.< Okay, so the first day of May was yesterday... so sue me! :P I woke up yesterday afternoon and I didn't bother going online... because I didn't feel like leaving the comforts of my room ^_^ Especially when The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers AND Return of the King were on the Movie Network <.< So I spent the day watching TV. Oddly enough, I wasn't able to fall asleep right away. So I went online and stayed up for a few minutes before I got sleepy. :P And I was out like a light!

Tomorrow morning I have a job interview. It's to do telephone surveys (kinda like my old job) at one of the places I applied at before. :P I shall knock on every piece of wood I can find and hope that I nail that interview! :D

I love bees. They make honey. Honey is a nice alternative to sugar. I can't help but to think of all the uber-goodness that can be made with honey: tea... cookies... ice cream... cherry bombs... world domination... I wonder what life would be like if I were a bee. Buzzing back and forth, from flower to flower... getting drunk on honey. <.< I ain't feeding any to that fatty queen; I'd keep it all to myself! >.> And I'd get into fights with other bees at the drop of a hat! I'd lay the smackdown on all their skinny a**es :P <.< And take their honey too >.> And I'll it all too. And then move onto the next hive! And the next! Until I have full control of all the hives in the world! BWA HA HA HA HA HA! :P

Hello my lil' cross-over fanatics!

Now, as y'all know, E3 is coming 'round the corner (let the countdown begin!). And RPG fans everywhere are salivating for more news, footage, what-have-you on one of the most anticipated RPGs ever: Final Fantasy XII.

Don't get me wrong, I have much love for FF XII... but after seeing what I saw today... I ain't that excited for FFXII. Let it come whenever it wants... I can wait, since I'll have this!

Namco X Capcom. The game of my dreams. All the uber-ness of Capcom and Namco rolled together to create a force of uber-goodness and fanboy fantasies (I'd use another term, but that might be a no-no :P). This is the type of game that reminds me why I want to get into the Industry: to make more uber-games like this! It's coming out in Japan very soon (like, in 2 weeks) and there's no word for a North American release.

Friends! GameSpotters! We must make a big rucus about this game! We want Namco to bring this to North America! If it does, I will buy it right away! I don't care what the critics say! This game must be mine! NOW!!!!!!!!! Spread the word! And the love!

*ahem* Anyhoo, my week was ok. I'm almost done reading another book: Honeymoon by James Patterson. It's really a good book. It's all about a woman leading a double life: on the surface, she was an interior decorator. But she was a black widow, getting into the pants of wealthy clients, getting them to fall in love with her (to the point where they marry or propose to her) and then kill them off... after stealing all their money! :o Anyhoo, it's really interesting and it's worth a read, if you have the time! ^_^

And as for books... <_< I haven't worked on my novelette for a while... @_@ I really should get on that. Maybe eating this chocolate will help *eats chocolate*

I've been working on new siggys now. I was planning on doing 6 siggys, and I almost have one done. I made an avi too... maybe I'll put them in circulation when I'm done, and add the others as they're finished.

I'm helping Walter with his research paper this weekend: the life of William Shakespeare. Quite interesting really. And also a learning experience, since all the things I've learnt about Shakespeare has since moved out of my brain to make room for other things. Such is the way of my brain... trying to cram in too much; kicking stuff out that's taking up too much real estate and is of little use to me... like math, for example :P

At least this gives me an excuse to read some of Shakespeare's work... ah, Hamlet! :P

Hello my lil' Umbrellas of Sunshine!

Well, today be raining. It was raining outside like mad this morning (around 7:30AM). How do I know this? Well... <_< it was kinda hard not to hear the pounding thud of rain falling onto the rooftops all around. @_@ Oy!

Anyhoo, right now I'm doing the laundry... so my clothes will be smelling Spring-time fresh in no time! Yays! :D

I got an interesting thing in the mail today... a letter from Nintendo Power! Ever since I decided to register my GBA SP, I've been getting e-mails and surveys from them, and all that lovely stuff. Now, they're trying to do the one thing they haven't done in years... get me back into their flock. And how do they plan to do this? Buy giving me a Nintendo Power subscription (they still have my old memebership number too! Dang!) O.o

Now, the last time a renewed my Nintendo Power subscription (waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in 1996! O_O), they sent me a Super Metroid Player's Guide. Nowadays, they seem to be upping the ante with subscription renewals and offering uber-bundle packs! And this one's quite a big one. They're offering me:

• Pokemon Emerald for the GBA
• Pokemon Emerald Player's Guide
• Pokemon T-Shirt
• One year subscription to Nintendo Power

All for the price of $76.99. Now, considering that you get all of that with a one year subscription is a pretty good deal. It's good until August 30th, so I still got time to think it over. I mean, just because PS2 is my console of choice doesn't mean I don't have love for the big N. I do have that limited edition Classic NES GBA SP (if that doesn't say old-school Nintendo love, I don't know what does!). Besides, if I could I'd get a 'Cube too... <_< and an XBox. :P

Well, I haven't received a callback from the place I went to on Friday. I need a job... like yesterday. @_@ But I'm gonna wait 'til Friday. If I don't hear from them, then I'll move on. I shall find a job soon... *keeps knocking on wood 'til there's a hole in it* :P

Hello my lil' purple grape bunnies!

Well, I haven't written in here in... almost a week @_@. Seems like a have a lil' catchin' up to do. :P Anyhoo, the week was... semi-eventful, but not that much.

[color=yellow]Tuesday... the lil' errand girl[/color]
Monday night my mom got paid for the first time in... quite a long time (almost four months... can you believe that nonsense!?). And her Boss didn't even pay her everything, either... only $300 out of the $4000+ that he owes her @_@. Anyhoo, she gave me all her cash and told me to run some errands for her. Mainly go to the bank to pay some bills and to pick up some food. I wasn't able to buy much food though, since she has lots of bills to pay @_@ @_@. I even had to cash my GST cheque just to help out with some of her bills (she didn't have enough) @_@. Ack @_@ I didn't mind though, 'cause I got something special when I chased my cheque: A special one-dollar coin with Terry Fox on it. He was uber-cool and inspired many folks everywhere as he tried to run across all of Canada in his Marathon of Hope; hoping to raise funds for cancer research. He was one hell of a guy.

The coin just came out about a week or so ago. Mine is nice and shiny, and I keep it in my wallet next to my special Remembrance Day Quarter:

Yesterday morning I had to go to Montreal for a job interview. It was for a telephone interviewer position. It looks to be more interesting than the previous interviewing job I had. The hours are great (I can work part time during the day, which is exactly what I want to do for now) and the pay is great too ($8.50/ hour... sweet). And since I've had experience doing telephone interviews before, this would be pretty easy to pick up. They told me they'll call me. I'm gonna knock on wood and pray that they do give me the call :P

On the way home, I ran into this young lady. She's studying business at Concordia University (my school :P) and she's from China. We started talking and I mentioned that I wanted to learn Chinese. She said she would teach me Chinese if I help her with her English (which is pretty good, really). We exchanged e-mails ^_^ I'll send her one later in the week. ^_^

• I cleaned the house and it got dirty real fast... again @_@.
• I'm still playing Xenosaga... just finished Pleroma and I'm training Shion in the EVS version of the Woglinde.
• Walter made a quiz about himself. I scored a 90 (goofed on the last question). He thinks everyone else will get a 60. :P
• I finished reading that book, The Outstanding Adventures of the Hunt Sisters yesterday night. It was a good story. I'm gonna start another one... but I don't know which one. I have about 4 new books I haven't read yet, and a bunch of old books that I want to read again. I just can't decide. Maybe I'll pick one of my older ones... a short one. :P
• The Overworld Union reached 10,000 posts this week! w00tNESS! :D
• I want God of War. I get tingles in happy places thinking about that game.

Hello my lil' Margaritas of relaxation!

I hope y'all had a nice Saturday! Mine would be classified as a lazy Saturday mainly because... I didn't do a dang gone thing! :P Which is kinda strange, 'cause I woke up early today (9 AM... that be early for a Saturday :P ). Since my bro was on the PC for most of the morning, I spent my time getting more re-acquainted with Xenosaga... sitting through the hours upon hours of cut-scenes :P <_< Not that I'm complaining or anything like that. After my lil' gaming session, I opened the window in my room to breathe in that good ol' fresh air... and fell asleep :P >_>' It was a nice nap. Long, but nice :D Oh bother.

The house is slowly running out of food. Soon we'll have to resort to eat toe-nail clippings with a side order of Spam @_@. I on the other hand, clever lil' minx that I am, have found a way to sustain myself with the Mana of all things caffeine-infested: hot cocoa and Shrimp-flavoured Ramen :P My mom says she'll go shopping on Monday... don't know how, since she's just as broke as the rest of us @_@. Well, since I wasn't on all day today, he decided to give me a lil' call. We talked for a while, but I let him go since my mom would most likely want to use the phone (miracle of miracles... she hasn't used it yet O.o) Oh well. It was nice to get a call from my baby :D

Anyhoo, it's 11 pm Eastern, and my brain has turned to mush. So I shall say my good bye now, and fly off into the sun... er, star-filled sky (can't exactly say sunset, now can I? :P)

Hello my lil' fire starters!

Yes, I'm back. I decided to abstain from that thar Intarweb and have a few "me" days. To reflect upon life, the mysteries of Crop Circles, etc. etc. But the instant I get back on... boom! I hear about all this chaos that's happened these past few days. So now I must help with the Damage Control!

I just finish cleaning... yea, I know last time I did some much-needed Spring Cleaning. But the chances of this house keeping clean for a long time are... well, non-existent. :P So I had to vacuum... and mop... and clean the dreaded toilet bowl @_@. Again. And of course, no one will notice the fact that the place is clean. They'll just complain a few days later that the house is dirty (after they dirty it up :P) Bah!

I bet your probably wondering what I did these past few days. <_< Okay, so maybe you weren't but I'm gonna tell you anyway, dang nabbit! I meditated... trying to clear my mind of clutter and refresh myself for the upcoming months. I took some nice, long walks (love that Chateauguay fresh air!), and started reading a new book: The New and Outstanding Adventures of the Hunt Sisters by Elisabeth Robinson. It's pretty good so far... and not too long: 352 pages. Hopefully I'll be able to finish it soon! ^_^

As for the job hunt: I made a few calls, and I'm expecting some calls. Hopefully I'll be gainfully employed sometime next week! ^_^ I'm hopeful, too! ^_^

I was flipping through one of my Game Design books (Game Design: Theory & Practice by Richard Rouse III) and I stared at the CD-ROM that came with the book. I decided to take it out of the book and look at the stuff in there. And dang! there were some pretty cool programs that came with the CD. I need to spend some time looking at what each program can do... and how I can use them for my own nefarious purposes. BWA HA HA HA HA! Seriously, I could probably do some interesting stuff with some of this. I'm kinda excited to dive right in! :D

I decided to play Xenosaga Episode I once again. I haven't gotten far: right now I'm leveling Shion up while she's alone on the Woglinde. She's at Level 6. <_<' I'm debating whether or not I should keep leveling her up or just move on (I'm mainly doing it for the Tech Points). Oh well, I'll figure something out. :P
