Just because they talk about those games a lot doesn't mean they only say good things about those games.......just saying......to broaden the perspective a little....
What a salty written article, whoever wrote this clearly isn't being professional....
Anyway as stupid as those cheats are, they are optional, you can always ignore them, so I don't see the big fuss, though I'm curious about something, does the actual HD PC version get this as well? or is this an exclusive feature to the PS4?
@luciferous: I have a GTX970, i5-2500k OC at 4.6Ghz and 8GB DDR3 RAM (soon to be 16 GB), any people expecting a fair return in investment are "twats" to you? yeah OK ta-ta to you too square enix defense fanboy, hope you enjoy whatever unpolished garbage they throw your way like the pathetic corporate sheep you are.
Edit: lol and what FF game do you know that can keep a constant 60fps? please enlighten me.
@luciferous: "It isn't a case of managing to get to a particular FPS" yes it is, I'm expressing my displeasure of square enix's incompetence to achieve a certain fps, I spend the necessary amount of money needed on the hardwares that can deliver me 60fps and I want my money's worth, incompetence should be criticized, not sympathized (or worse praised) your opinion of what constitutes an acceptable fps doesn't interest me.
@luciferous: Have you played any FF game? how many do you know that managed 60fps? not even the FF games on PC can manage to get to that mark because they are so terribly optimized.
@frostglade: Have you actually played any open world games since the past gen? witcher? GTA san andreas? Fallout 4? ANY game? because the only way you could arrive to your conclusion would be that you isolated yourself from games besides the Final Fantasy series, games more the 6 times the size of FF7 have existed since the 6th gen, even adding the factor of additional content for the remake there is no way FF7 Remake could possibly be too large for any single disk format, Blu-ray disks have capacities as large as 200GB (not that any COMPETENT dev would need to use this much space, look at FF13, a last gen game on PC and it needs 60 freakin GB of install space and Fallout 4 is a much larger game and only requires 20GB) and even if the game would be larger then the better solution would be to release them on multiple disks, not sell them in episodic sequences, this is a bullshit move one way or another, you CANNOT believe every single thing devs tells you, you have to think for yourself.
@coolbeans1: .......Yes, and you know what else is primitive? world exploration, I mean who needs that right? its sooooo 90s! linearity is so much better! and also travel with air planes? bitch please, boring teleportations are way better! also episodic is way better option for devs because the game would be sooooo big that its impossible to work everything at once (Fallout, Witcher, GTA and all those games do not exist) in fact lets just get rid off controls all together and turn the game into a QTE like Heavy Rain, because controlling charcaters movements is soooo 90s! hurray for current gen gaming and the extremely degenerated players that it has created!
@Gamer_4_Fun: They are all available on all those platforms, its not really "episodes" its more like a spin-off series called Chronicles, and there are 3 titles that have been announced, Chronicles China (which is available now, great game highly recommend it) and then Chronicles India and Chronicles Russia next year, if these succeed we might get more titles (which I'm personally hoping for, Chronicles China was one of the few 2.5D titles I have enjoyed this gen and its certainly a nice break from the regular Assassin's Creed series)
