Well, yesterday like many of you Gamespot subscribers out there, I tuned in to watch the 8-hour gameplay marathon of Saint's Row for the Xbox 360. My analysis is that I am sold on this game now and I am getting it definitely come this Friday and have me some fun like I seen Greg have yesterday in a variety of ways.

Sure it is a GTA clone and does have a lot of aspects from GTA: SA but of all the GTA clones out there, I have to say judging by the 7 hours I watched of it (will explain why I didn't get to watch the last in a moment), it looks set to be the best of the bunch and I hope I am right when the review comes out.

The graphics are not the best now but the explosions and the physics etc certainly are pretty cool and some of the things that Greg did in the marathon were just funny and sometimes he didn't know what the hell he was supposed to do which made it all the more funnier.

The activites in the game look to be some fun especially the insurance fraud where it kind of took a page out of Amped 3's book in that you have to hurt yourself badly to get money and respect but it looks cool.

Some of the car designs look interesting and the crashes and explosions are a hell of a lot better looking in this than in GTA but it is a next-gen console anyway so we knew that was happening.

The multiplayer in it looks alright now but the blinged out ride mode judging by what I saw looks set to be the most interesting mode of the bunch and hoping come Friday, I enjoy it too.

Well, I did stay up for 7 hours (it was 2am here when the last hour came) and unfortunately that is the time that the feed had to go out on me and went to the blank screen with the Ready text. I tried several times to get it back on and all I got was a screen with some sort of program on a desktop with blue background (anyone else get this?) and unfortunately just gave up in the end.

That was too bad because to tell you the truth, I haven't had this much fun watching somebody else play a game ever and hopefully we will have more funny and great marathons like this in the near future. So thanks to Greg Kasavin for putting on a great marathon, Gamespot for providing us with it and THQ and Volition Inc for creating the game in the first place.

Well, even though I don't really watch WWE now except for its PPVs as I read the weekly show results on the Internet, I was a bit saddened to see that Kurt Angle, my favourite wrestler in WWE was granted a early release from his contract from WWE due to "personal issues". I believe these issues might be in association with his continuing neck problems or maybe with his marriage but I am not so sure.

I know this has nothing to do with games now but I know now that I will never see the Olympic Gold medalist in the WWE for a long time or ever again, which quite frankly sucks because he is one of the more talented superstars on the roster and easily outshines some of the main-eventers in the WWE today, John Cena for instance (OH IT'S TRUE, IT'S DAMN TRUE!!). They are hoping to do business again in the future and I hope that what eventually happens sometime down the road.

I presume he will still be in the upcoming WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2007 game anyway and if he is not, then I will not be a happy person since half the wrestlers in the game last year were not even at WWE anymore by the time the game came out and thus it was deemed out-of-date in a way.

So anyway I wish the best of luck to Kurt and his future endeavours and hopefully someday he will come back in some form or another. He had intelligence, integrity and intensity.

Well, here you go folks.  Episode 3 of Darro's Den is up and running.  Now, I know I am going at a bit of a fuss here but not a whole lot of people watched the last episode as it may have been too much for some people who tend to watch my blogs and I do seem to be getting less and less views each time.

Anyway, here is episode 3 and includes Mega Man Powered Up and New Super Mario Bros.  I talk about Retro games and go through the games played in the last week.  Now, if you want a request for me to play a game in next week's show, PLEASE post it in this blog here and not any of the separate ones just so I can see what games want to be shown.

I am just so happy now because of the news I have read today concerning the release date of Guitar Hero II in UK/Europe and it is going to be November as well, just shortly after the US release date. 

This is great news for me because I love the first game and it sucked that we had to wait 6 months for it to be released here but since the game is a hit amongst a lot of people, it is good to see that the game will be released here and the US in the same month.

I seen the new song added in the game on the video and even though I ain't fussed on Guns n Roses, it is a song that is really suited to the game and would be a good song to play anyway, even with the introduction of three-finger chords.

I hope it doesn't suffer a delay though and unfortunately, probably end up happening after the US release date because us Europeans seem most of the time to get the bulk of delays especially with Warioware Twisted.

Anyway, thanks Red Octane and Harmonix for this news and I am sure to pick up this game on day 1.

Well, episode 2 of Darro's Den is finally here but unfortunately it didn't run as smoothly as I hoped it would be.

The main hitch is in part 3 where most of the segment contains this blasting sound like the one you would hear if you are on a bad tv channel and getting no reception. 

I used the webcam built-in mic this time instead of the headset and I do not know really why it does that since it is fine one minute and then not the next.  If anyone out there can let me know the problem, then I would very much appreciate it.

Another little hitch occured in that I wanted to do a little intro montage along the lines of On The Spot but in the end, it ended up 276MB, which meant I couldn't do that.

If you can get past those hitches and also the gameplay footage ain't super fan-da-be-dozie (since it is on a webcam), then I am sure you will end up enjoying the episode nonetheless and if you did, let me know since if you guys did not enjoy it I won't do anymore.

Well, I got some comments stating what game from the list people wanted to see on my show and Zelda came in with 3 votes so that will be the game I will show as well as Conker's Bad Fur Day.  Tomorrow  is when I will do the second episode of Darro's Den so look out for it and hopefully it will turn out alright.

Yes, if you read the header of this blog, it is a new blog that I will be doing each week or several days depending on how well this episode does with you viewers out there. Anyway, this is more of a show than a blog since I will go and play some of the games that I have in my collection and show you my thoughts on the game and certain things you may not have known in the first place.

Anyway, enjoy and also post some question in relation to some of the games I have and I may answer them when playing the game in question so until the next part comes up, enjoy!

UPDATE: Yes, before you slag me off about it, I know this blog and the next one as well will probably have awful video quality and not can rest assure that I will probably no longer do blogs on my laptop since they tend to be crap quality. I will try and see if I can get the web cam to reach into here but it will be highly unlikely that I can but I will try it for next time.

UPDATE 2: Good news.  I will be able to record this show with the webcam through the PC instead of the laptop.  Just need to pull the chest a little bit forward in order to get the webcam to stand so I can record the gameplay footage good but it is good to know that I can so next time this show will be up, it will be of GOOD quality!

Hey guys, another blog here and it is quite short in comparison to my other blogs that I have done.  Just going through the same old stuff and a little farewell to Carrie.

I will be doing a Guitar Hero review next for those of you who care since NeoJedi aka Denis voted for it first and thus decided to do it so that will be done in the next week or so so look out for it.

Well, another day has gone and with it I have made another blog where the usual things occur but I discuss a topic that has come to my mind with the recent release of Miami Vice for the PSP and you will know about it if you watch this blog.

Personally, I would like to do something different in my blogs from now on if possible rather than the same old stuff.  I do like the blogs I do for the people who watch them but would like to try different blogs that are rarely seen on Gamespot like a game show or something among the sorts.

By the way, since I have finished GUN, I would like each of you out there to vote for one of the following five games that you would like me to review next and will do so sometime this week.  The following games are:
