Well, yesterday (Thursday) was not one of my best days and the main reason with that is that an accident occured in my room today and just can't point to how it happened.

Well, I was just walking over to my bed when I must have hit something accidentally and all of a sudden I heard a great big crash and I turned around and saw, my video recorder on the ground and my HD ready TV on the ground and then I saw it: the screen was cracked at the bottom and I just was sad with this.

I put it up to see if it was still working and that again and connected the plugs but alas it was not because when the screen was on, there was cracks within as well and the screen had these lines and that and all black and stuff and basically, the TV was broken and I was upset with this.

Well, thanks to my thoughtful mother, I now have another HD Ready TV but I am paying her back for it, as I was currently paying her off for this one when the unfortunate accident occured.  I loved that TV and this other one I have is good and all but for some reason at the moment, I just really liked the one I lost more.

Well, I know this might sound sad but I enjoyed my time with the TV and watching shows and playing games on it and it will be missed.  Goodbye, my HD ready friend, you went before your time!

Actually, I can wait.  Well, tomorrow is the day I found out finally when the Nintendo Wii will be released here in Europe, especially the UK and what price it will be.  I do not mind when it is, as long as it is not next year also because I think one delayed console next year is enough and would be nice to have it near the US and Japanese launch date but I doubt it though.

If I have the money at the time, I will be definitely getting one as I have been really looking forward to the Wii for a while now since its strong E3 showing and some of the games on it look set to be great in their own ways.

If I were to make a predction of what price the Wii will be here in the UK and when it will be released, I will say it will be probably £200 or £199.99 and will be released the week after the Japanese launch on my brother's birthday (8th December).

So, it will be a shock if I was right now but I get most things wrong anyway and this will be probably be another to add onto the list but I will be happy anyway as long as it is released this year and not the next as Europe and the UK are tired of getting consoles and games months after North American and Japan get theirs.  Also, I will say there will be about 15 games at launch.

Anyway, if you live in the UK or Europe, let me know what your predictions are for the price and release date of the Nintendo Wii and how many games available at launch? 

Well, I thought they wre gone but unfortunately, they came back once again while I was playing Lego Star Wars 2, which is still a fun game in my opinion.  I am not so sure if it is just the game that is causing the hardware failure or that it just happens that I am playing that game at the time it goes off.

By the way, you know the light on the big transformer box or whatever of the 360 plug itself, what colour is it actually supposed to be because maybe it could be it now because when I put it on, it is orange.  Is that good or not? Should it be another colour? Let me know as soon as possible.

Well, I hope this isn't the end of my relationship with my current 360 because for the first time since I got the console, I have encountered the dreaded three red lights of doom, which suffice to say means a hardware failure has occurred.

I hope this is not it now because I love my 260 and do not want to wait a few week waiting for a replacement or whatever like WhiteCloud unfortunately has to do but I checked online on Xbox.com and just unplug the console and that and try it again.

I have the Nyko intercooler on the back of it but a problem was that I forgot to have it on yesterday when I played Dead Rising for most of the day and it could have been the reason why it went bust or that I never turn off the actual plug itself or disconnect it from the extension that its in or whatever but I don't want this to be the end.

It happened when I was playing Lego Star Wars II since strangely it came out here in the UK yesterday when it was supposed to out tomorow and got it and was playing the first level for about 10 mins or so and boom it went off.

Have any of you guys encountered this just the once and if so what did you do about it?  I would like to know because this has not happened to me yet in the few months I had this 360 (had to bring the first one back since the 4 red lights came on it and thus it was the AV cable.

So let me know please.  I dont want to lose a good friend.

Well, I was looking forward all week to getting this game and finally the day came and went down to my local GameStop to trade in 2 360 games (GUN and Rumble Roses XX) and purchased Dead Rising for just a pound.

I have played a few hours of it and I am liking what I have played thus far, granted I actually suck a bit since I haven't got past the first day yet at all as I had about 15 attempts or so killing the convicts in the leisure park and then realising that they respawn anyway, which to me sucks though.

I will be playing more of it over the weekend now and will get a bigger kick out of it once I get good at levelling up and escorting survivors out etc.

Yes, it has been a while since I did my last written review but since I just got the last achievements in Condemned today, I decided to do a review on it and I think it is probably my best written review to date. Sure it ain't spectactular but hey its a start.

Condemned: Criminal Origins Written Review

Once again, us Europeans get the short end of the stick with the breaking news that the PS3 is not going to be released now in November 17th of this year but March of 2007 due to blue laser diode isues or something being the main reason for this.

This is either true or just a load of crap because they can't make stock demand or whatever but anyway, even though I was not going to get one for a while, I am still a bit mad at this that once again, Europe has to wait a while for the console to come out here while America and Japan get their share of the PS3 still in November.

Even though it is damn expernsive, I do feel sorry for those ones who were saving up to get one at launch and now unfortunately they have to wait another 4 months come November while Japan and the US will have it by then.

I hate when this happens though because every once in a while, we get something before the US do but about 90% of the time, we always get games and consoles last and this is another thing to add on the list.

Hopefully though, the Wii will still come out this year in Europe, US and Japan or else I will be not happy at all that Deja Vu could set in.

Anyway, that is all I have to say for this here and hopefully we get something out of this in the end like a little price cut but I sincerely doubt it since Sony sometimes doesn't care about Europe and posibly giving a bullcrap reason why its delayed..

Well, I promised that I would do a Darro's Den and that over the weekend but unfortunately I could not do it probably and if you want to know why, watch the blog.

Sure it is dead long and that but I did ramble on a bit about Saints Row and Guild Wars (great games btw) and a few questions answered.

Please give me some questions to answer next time as I am not really getting a whole lot and would prefer to dedicate a good bit of this blog to questions rather than 80% rambling about games and 20% questions.

So anyway, sorry about it but I will do one as soon as possible and until then, I will be doing these usual blogs again except not as long hopefully.

Well, here is what is going to occur for episode 4 of Darro's Den, which will be most likely done over the weekend so stay tuned for it.

I will start of course with a introduction on what is coming up on the show and then get straight into the first gameplay segment, which will be for one of my favourite games for the SNES: Super Metroid, as a few people who watched the last episode requested it so that is what is going to be on. 

Next up, will be the games played and games bought section and that I have two new additions to my game collection this week, Guild Wars and Saints Row, in which I just got today and it is good thus far even though the online is a straight up lag festival. 

Next up will be the second gameplay section and since I want to do a more current game for this, I have decided to finally going around and doing the video review of Guitar Hero, which I promised to do a while back so you will see me play it and show you how not so great I am in the game.

Next, will be the final part in which I answer a few questions from you the viewers and that I got a few already but please send me more as I haven't gotten a whole lot thus far and would like at least 5 to answer before I do the show.

Anyway, that is what is going to occur and if any of you guys (few they may be) who watch my show, tell me what improvements you would like me to do for the show (except quality of gameplay footage of course) and I will do my best to do that.

I got this game yesterday for £10 as I really wanted to play this game and plus since it has not subscription fee like other MMOs out there, that is a added bonus.

For those of you out there that regularly check my profile and will know that I have played Final Fantasy XI Online and how I thought it was alright but not great. I cancelled my subscription and deleted the game from the Xbox 360 and threw it in the bin.  After playing a few hours of Guild Wars today, I am so glad that I did because Guild Wars is basically better than FFXI in almost every possible way. 

The graphics, the sound and the gameplay are really superior to that of XI Online and XI just plain SUCKS compared to this and HighTimesBX is right that it is known as Devil's Spawn because the game is just no fun and shouldnt have wasted my money on it but wanted to play it and realised it was pretty crap and thus went out and got a much better and cheaper MMORPG,

The game is on my brother's PC anyway and will only be able to play it when he is at work or out but I don't mind anyway since I am going to save up for a good gaming laptop and thus most games today will work perfectly on it.
