@wolfpup7: Don't buy it now, it will drop more. The Ally X is coming out or is out. This fixes all the big problems with the Ally including a huge battery and 2280 M.2 support...
You'll see the Extreme Z1 for a lot cheaper after the X comes out...
@Bafitis: Talk to Wii or DS owners. NIntendo has done that before. GO on a Wii, try to access the store over Wi-FI, you can't even get to it any more, so all your games you own, you can no longer access....
@Bafitis: Or do what Nintendo does. They kill off the system you own digital games on, make it so you can't reinstall them, and re-release a NEW version and you have to rebuy the game if you want to play it...
@guitarwarrior66: It's the same across the board, you don't own the game, you own a license to use the product/game. If you picked it up physically, you own the media to transfer your license but, you do not own the product on the media.
Read the EULA, it kind of says this but in different words...
WITH THIS being said, if you lose your logon to your digital games, you can always install and play you game/license if you have the media required.
@Specterkingdark: Maybe if it's unused for XXX amount of time? Also, the password to the account is not enough, you need to change the email that the steam account is on. as if you try to change the password, it will send a email for recovery.
Sounds like just before you plan to XX yourself, or going to die, hand your steam email account (whatever it's tied to over) to whoever you want. Then when they set a password reset, it will go to the email.
I personally would want some legal note on this one. So, how about Microsoft ? How about Sony ? How about Nintendo ? (X that one, Nintendo will abandon the console and you can no longer get your games, they suck for this)
