@prosperitypark: lol, GTA Online is evil incarnate around here. Are you surprised? We are still getting free DLC 6 years later. I haven't paid a dime since my original disc purchase. And yet... Rockstar is just pure greed. Fake outrage is the new drug and gamers are some of the worst addicts.
@Austacker: or, maybe we have jobs and don't have time to bitch about tiny little things like this. There are plenty of crappy practices game companies engage in. Selling tiny little baubles that do nothing but make you pretty isn't one of them.
I thought this was supposed to be the last season. Now they're talking season 11 and beyond? I guess that's good. I thought Danger Island was a major step up from Dreamland. It was well made, but the more serious tone is not what I watch the show for.
But at some point, he has to wake up. That would really suck if they left it hanging like that. I think a great idea would be to have him wake up like 20 years later with his daughter being an adult and ending up just like him.
@Atzenkiller: GASP! How dare they try to entice me to buy their stuff! It might even have their logo on it. Next level evil right there.
No, most of us are quite aware businesses sell things... that's what they do. If giving out merchandise is the worst they do, what's exactly the problem again? Nobody is falling for anything. Most people don't see what you're talking about as a problem.
And to say that me buying a product for its intended use has no bearing in the conversation is moronic. The free games have not always been part of the deal, and as I already said, they are not obligated to offer them. I will absolutely call out dirty business tactics, but these are not.
@Atzenkiller: actually it's much closer to going to a restaurant and when paying the bill, they throw on a free dessert. I imagine very few people get ps+ or xboxlive for the freebies. I was going to get it anyway, and they don't have to do that. But go ahead, please continue being a negative nancy.
@naruto945: wtf does that even mean? Journalists report the news. To the people. That means those people(i.e. the readers) are in fact the judge of that information, opinion, whatever, and also that writer's abilities. "Journalists" who only write to be judged by peers are the ones up their own asses.
@Sevenizz: sad but true. It's incredibly annoying that so many games are released in such sad states, but giving them a few months usually solves the problem. That's why I never preorder, and I usually wait until a price drop at the very least. I have such a backlog of games I want to play it usually doesn't matter either way.
I'm not going to join the evilcorp hate train, but what exactly prompted this? Was this at a RDR2 presser or something? Because, out of the blue, this is kind of weird to just throw out there. BTW, EvilCorp is definitely my future rockband's name.
@JustinGoSka: that's one of the reasons I was disappointed in it. For a game about the revolution it showed very little of the actual war. It did well with the lead up, but it kind of sputtered out and focused too much on Conner chasing the villain. I know that's the point, but it felt like a missed opportunity.
