The technical aspects of games are a hard issue to deal with nowadays. Yes, a company should be punished for such bad launches like Unity, but it's almost unfair to the game itself. I played it a year after release, and I thought it might have been the most fun from a game play standpoint that I've had with the series. The murder mysteries were very well done. I think an open world detective game in that vain would be great. LA Noire could have been much better if it was similar. Murdered: Soul Suspect was pretty close to what I'm describing.

But for story and setting, nothing touches the first game.

I forgot the "controversy" about gta 5 being misogynistic. It was bullshit. The game is a parody of the completely vapid culture that is Hollywood and greater LA. It was spot on. Don't blame them for accuracy. It's hilarious that life has become more obsurd than the parody, which makes some of the over the top moments in the game understated by comparison.

@jerky_666: he was messing with cap. The scene where cap is pushing against his hand was Thanos seeing what he could do. Then when he smacked him aside, he used enough force to knock him out, not kill him. He didn't kill any of the heroes unless he had to. Until the snap, anyway. The only real trouble he had until the last fight with thor was Mantis. Everything else was just a distraction to slow him down.

There is something I haven't seen anyone say yet, and I think is absolutely true. MCU Thanos is not like the comics version, this we know. I think that he didn't want to do it, and he was giving them every chance to stop him. I'm not saying he was going easy on them, but more like serial killers that subconsciously do things to make it more likely they'll get caught. They don't want to do what they do, (I'm not talking about all serial killers, most are that evil) they are compelled to do it. He was chained to his reasoning and would do anything to achieve it. But he did not want to do it. He felt it was what had to be done. Twisted logic for sure, but then that's how you come to conclusions like wiping out half the galaxy.

@spartanx169x: Thanos has tossed around the hulk in the comics like that. I think you underestimate him. Plus, he had the power stone. Also, the hulk's strength is relative to his anger. He had probably just changed, and in AoU, he was completely enraged by scarlet witch's trick. Thanos beat him down so quickly he didn't really have a chance. And again, heavy emphasis on the power stone.

It's been a while since I saw it, but, didn't Banner think this and even say it? Honestly, I'm going with both. Thanos beat him down worse than any other fight he was in. The Hulk's ego took a hit and it clearly scared him. It gave him the realization of his mortality. He had experienced freedom for the first time(sort of) on Sakaar, and his first real loss gave him something to think about. He was already tired of being Banner's henchman (for lack of a better word), and the final straw was getting curb stomped by Thanos.

@monkyby87: i honestly never got that. I probably spent 20%-25% of my time using the batmobile. That includes doing all the riddler stuff. The only thing I wasn't happy about was the last tank battle against Deathstroke. That one was agonizing. Also, duh, why the hell am I fighting Deathstroke in a tank battle? No hand to hand fight? That sucked. But everything else to me was really well done. I felt the batmobile was smooth enough and a beast to drive. It's probably my favorite vehicle I've ever used in a game.

@burnettaj: who are you? Ride off white knight. There's a fair maiden in need of saving. This one needn't a hero.

I said my piece, he mocked something I like, and I mocked that. Did I make a factual statement about his smelly opinion? Must I make a disclaimer every time I offer my take?

Well, now you're smelly too. I might be off my meds, but that doesn't mean my sniffer can't call balls and strikes accurately. Have a smelly day... SIR!

@asnakeneverdies: you're entitled to your dumb, smelly opinion. And it is smelly. So smelly.
