-last wk was the annual computer club camping heat...this is it in a nut shell: hot. boring. straved. leaches in lake. i got a rash THAT I STILL HAVE! rawwwwwwrrrrr. boring.

which one do u want to read first? the good or the bad? i'll be fair and let u read the good news 1st. good news: it was my community college graduation last nite and the thing went pretty fast. it was almost 2 hrs long for a class of 500. i got an assosiates in art last nite magna cum laude, followed by a little dinner at from bbq place. it was nice except my dad left b4 the dinner started so he could be with his new wife and also my friends thought that my uncle was dad... :roll: since yesterday was also the mexican mothers day, tons of ppl skipped the graduation so they could celebrate thier "mexican" mothers holiday...ok..we live in america..get one thing straight. you were NOT born in mexico so why the whytf r u celebrating a holiday that is not even yours? um..u r mexican american, not mexican. i'll let it slip if your an naturalized/illegal living in the states, but if your family was born here and u celebrate another country's holiday, get a life. reason #1,874 of why i abhore, loathe, & hate living in a border town. i could go on, but this is not the time. we also had a marachi group sernade us at 5am...annoying b/c it's 5 FREAKIN'AM & THE LAST THING I WANT TO HEAR IS MARACHI MUCIC!!!!!!! *roar* the concert was for grandma since we live w/her and there were two groups hired by my uncle and mom. my other aunt and uncle took my grandma to the holiday inn buffet, but mother and me declined since we dident want to go. i wanted to feast at the holiday inn, but those relatives are annoying and i dident want to be stuck with them for an hr.

gifts for graduation: a butterfly storage box thing with tiles of butterflys. one of the butterflys has a striking resemblence to mothra :roll: i also a got $100 check, $20 check, fugly pants and some flowers.

bad news: I DIDENT GET ACCECPTED TO NYU. this really gets to me b/c i put hours and hours into that dam never ending application including a teacher recomdination form from a sexist troll video production teacher who NEVER once helped me with my projects. she'd look at me and run away. but if a boy needed help, she'd be all over him in a sec. the admissions letter said that they had over 4,000+ transfer applications and it was a very competative yr. i dont where i went wrong in that application...i had 2 essays, two recomindation letters, 15 pages of fiction, 2 scripts, plus two news paper articules from highschool. whts the fcking pt of sending me flyers for the past 2 yrs for nothing? i wasted time going that application and they wasted thier time sending those g*ddam flyers . for the record, it was the them that found me...i dident think about nyu when i started college, they sent me flyers the summer i finised my 1st semester and sparked an interest in that school. at the time i was getting offers from baylor and tulane..2 schools i would never even consider b/c they dont have strong media programs. i already knew that i had a slim chance of getting in b/c they have about 23%-34% rate of admissions since it's one of the better schools in america, & the web site even says "creative and strong academics only, but we like diversity." :roll: bull$h!t. even if i got in, the cost is insane. how in fck i'm gonna afford $53,000 a yr, plus round trip plane tixs from nyc to san antonio (my town has a tiny airport and only offers planes so u can transfer planes from a bigger, better airport), then the cost of driving 2.5 from sa then to my home town w/$4 gas. plus clothes, laundry, food, meal plans are seprate, outings, transportation, etc. i looked at the course offerings and realized that maybe i dont want to spealize in writing alone...maybe i want a varied education like i would at tx st. atleast there i can double major in graphic design and pre mass comm and minor in creative writing for atleast $45,000 less than nyu, including tranportation (i have a car), meal plans included, living needs, san marcos is quiet and cheap, etc and it's only a 3.5 hr away from home. i want nyu to leave me alone for right now...i don't want them sending me flyers for a good semester or so...i'm more disapointed the admissions $h!t then not getting in. right i'm looking at florida schools, usc, and ucla for the spring. chances r if i did not get into nyu, i might not get into ucla. :roll:

but, the transfers that got in, wht did they have that i didnot? i dont think it was grades, possbily the writing, spaces were already filled, they can afford it, after school activites, did the troll write a bad recommindation letter? idk...someone say sumthing logical. when i go to tx st, the first thing i'm doing is signing up for writing classes and joining every academic club.

:roll: nyu sent me a "spring in 09' flyer" :roll: so does this mean i wasnet accepted and
now there saying "well try again in spring 09" :roll: i wont hear from them in another 3
wks so yea...and the area i'm applying 2 doesnt accept anyone in the spring so why the bother...

i'm graduating with an ASSOSIATES IN ART on saturday with honors. i wanna get it over with already. 2.5 hours i wont be getting back.

hopefully i get 2 start summer c1ass at texas st and leave the prison that is an A&M school...:roll:

not that i would know since i only wear boxers OVER my undies during the winter time. anyways, 'm done with finals and i presented a mockumentary about godzilla last nite. thats why i havent been here...i've worked every wkend on it sometimes stayin till midnite. i even had to ask on a enxtension for another project in another c!ass and the teacher said yes. *whips sweat* now that is done and over with. and i have a powerwalking final. who tf has a pw final...who tf does that??? turns the cake shop i went to does same orders so i ended up getting this:

-i found this pic on line and went to the cake place and asked them if they do custom designs. the lady printed it out and BAM! i have a VOY cake now. chocolate cake, pineapple filling, and butter cream frosting. worth the $50 i paid for it.

-i asked mother if i could have a beer a tomarrow, n she said no cuz she controls every inch of my life and wont let go.

-so tomarrow i have a midterm for a birthday and a group presensentation to prepare for. also, dont expect much a b-day blog from me tomarrow since i have a ton of work to attend to and if u want to throw me a blog party, then do so. also, tomarrow the 1st yr anniversary of my cat, toki's death.

-friday i want to go the local chines buffet and gorge.
