Crytek should fire everyone involved in making Crysis 2 and 3, and make the next crysis like the first Crysis, which was IMO the only good Crysis, Warehead was also not bad. But Crysis 2 and 3 have almost nothing to do with the original or its' awesome plot.
He came up with the concept for lost... The Hatch, The Numbers, The Anomaly and the Others. The "bible" stated that Time Travel would be an "unacceptable" plot device to retroactively explain plot holes, He also had been explicit in every way that the people on the island were not Dreaming or Dead. Everything he contributed to the series was in the first three seasons, Then they started moving a away from the tracks he laid in the forth season, then the writer strike happened and the 'bible' was just thrown out of a window. Again your just blaming him for what someone else was absolutely responsible for... Is it his fault that ending was terrible? Really? he wrote the Pilot... and then 120 episodes later you think he is responsible for What? Writing the first episode cause if he didn't do that they wouldn't have made 120 more of them? He never intended to capture the essence of Kirk, because Kirk isn't the same person, the original Kirk was raised by both of his parents, his father showed him how to be a strong leader. The new kirk's father is killed while he is being born, and grows up misguided, angry with no direction. If Abrams had just made the new kirk just like the old one.... IT WOULDN'T MAKE ANY SENSE! They had two completely different lives! And as far a Abrams and Star Wars goes, Star Wars is a HUGE universe, but for what ever reason Lucas was content on focusing on ONE FAMILY, in a Galaxy, Far Far Away.... ONE FAMILY, Lucas's vision was so myopic. You say Abrams is all about the Big Picture... GOOD. Its about time star wars was dusted off and saved from Lucas. There is so much material for him to go with, and no reboot required... Just Film things in the Star Wars universe, There are literally shit tons of it. Lightsabers, some force, maybe some jedis, a villain, maybe some spaceships, bounty hunters, one of those big things from ROTJ .... Sounds Awesome to me... ONE FILM is more that Lucas was ever going to do... They are going to make many. I've even heard rumors abouta seven samurai ode to Akira Kurosawa type movie. Awesome.
@MooncalfReviews JJ Abram helped to create lost... he didn't write or direct any of the episodes but for the exception of the Pilot and a series bible for the writing staff to fallow... he was an executive producer for half of the first season... You need to research things a little, cause you sound dumb when you blame a the person that came up with what started out like a great show, for an ending that, that person had nothing to do with... If you want to blame someone or something for how that show deteriorate you can blame the writers and the writers guild strike... And how did he butcher Star Trek? didn't they kill spok in the second original movie just to bring him back in the third film? Don't they go BACK IN TIME in the forth star trek movie!?!?!? He had to "reboot" star trek in a way that changes everything that we already know is suppose to happen so that future movies wouldn't be opposed to the original movies' canon... And I'd say he did just that.
