The Ultimate Power in the Universe

Among other things, this is one of my hobbies.
Until the 5000 piece Millenium Falcon Set came out, this was the biggest and baddest.
About 14 hours to build, here is the .... Death Star...

Who's got time to play games?

Well we think we do but there's a little restriction in our life called time. It catches up with you when your playing SPORE til 4am in the morning, and then realising that your work day is shot cause you've had 1.45 hours sleep. The kids are hassling you to fire up with the Wii and you know its all over bar the shouting. So .... When do you fit in all the new games you've bought to play on your new compy??? Answer : You can't so your play 10 games at once like me. As you can see, there's a few games in progress. A little diversity to keep the ole brain ticking over and giving the graphics card a workout. Lego Batman Fun, easy, its LEGO!! F.E.A.R. a old favourite, spooky, graphic, a nice FPS Bioshock couldn't play this til the new card, so WOW, what I'd been missing out on. love it. bring on more of the gene pool! Grid love racing games, and this little beauty shows you just how hard you hit the wall at 303km/h... ouch! Wii well its for the fitness and balancing... need we say more. Multiwinia just play it, great stick figure strategy. did I miss any?? another game called world of goo, not on here (GS) but still a great strategy as well. and how could I forget my fav of the moment. SPORE?? whoever thought this game up wins my big slap on the back award ... NO .. thank you.. any-hoo catch you all around cyberspace and beyond.. PS search you-tube for the new Tr2n trailer.... can't wait!!!! over N out

Two Emblems this week

Two game marathons later, and I've picked up these nice little emblems was looking for something new for my Wii, but I don't think animal crossing will be it..

What I've be doin...

Alot since your reading this... First of all, came back from my mega overseas trip to still be trying to organise all my photos and video. Next got my new job out of sale and into the an engineering role with our local power distribution network, called Western Power. I'm currently in training learning about all their communications equipment, 2 years before I'm upto scratch.. Preparing myself for next year's challenge, to try and complete my diploma in electronic engineering, which will be no mean feat as I've got to try and cram about 6 subjects into 1 day, and maybe 1 night... We'll see how the brain goes. Playing some grovvey new games, spore, which is just about the best god game I've played in awhile. my old favourite F.e.a.r, and warming up the keyboard for some frantic lego action in Lego Batman, but I've got to finish one of the others first. Everyone try out for the Halloween scavenatator comp???? Just had to look around for some screenshots and earnt these little nice emblems for the effort... anyway that's enough out of me... out into the stars we go..

The 1st photos

Finally got my photos sorted out from the big holiday, but I've stored them away from GS until this site can sort out its image problems. anyway here we go with Singapore.

Euro Disney - The Last Stop

The last leg of my trip ended today leaving France to return back to London before heading home to Australia on Monday, but there was one thing that made the trip worth the whole wait, Euro Disney. The park is about 30 minutes from Paris, east, divided into two parks, Disneyland and Disney Studios. The 2nd having been built quite recently to support the newer characters such as Sulley (Monsters Inc), Stitch etc. The main park is huge and took us 2 days to get around. Divided into 5 sections, your journey begins in the main street where the street parade takes place, then you can venture off onto the rides designed for the kids, or those of us who prefer you stomachs left at the door. There's a suttle merry go round, tea cups, racing cars, or then go on the space adventure for high speed roller coaster in complete darkness . The 2nd park is based mainly on the disney movies, they've got live shows, special effect stage, and the tower of terror where they drop you 13 floors straight after having a kilo of popcorn and an icecream. Anyway, I've now got over 4000 photos and 6 hours of video to go thru once home, so I hope to get some photos up for all of you to have a look at. over and out .

London

Having said goodbye to Belfast, we've headed over to the biggest city I've seen yet, London. Had a great time so far with the wonderful weather. 1st day was Legoland, expensive, but loads of things for the children and big children to do. 2nd day was a trip into London to see The Lion King, simply brillant. So with a few more day in sunny London, I'll be taking another 1500 photos. more soon

A small trip over the water

A short trip over the weekend to Scotland to see friends living in Edinburgh. The city has so much history, I think you'd need more than 2 days we spend there. Too alot of photos whilst visting and touring around on the buses. Just some of the sites we visits was the Edinburgh Castle, The Royal Mile, Scott Monument, Leith (to see the Royal Yacht Britannia), didn't get to climb Arthur's Seat but still got some great pictures of it. Visited some of the pubs on Saturday night, one being the Last Drop, which would hold about 40 people, great atmosphere there. Did a vault tour to see how the hidden looked all those years ago, apparently witchcraft is practiced but they only have a white witch, so it was safe to enter. There's a ring on stones down there you shouldn't enter because of a curse but I thought I'd try my luck. Visited Greyfriars Bobby's cemetary and the pub dedicated to the dog. Did night time tour of Mary King Close, fantastic, would recommend anyone visiting to do this tour. But now we're on our last couple of days in Belfast and back to London for a week of touring around there.

Darth Vader comes to Belfast..

Just a short blog, but alot, AAAAARRRRGGGGHHHHH. I'm 10 minutes down the road from the Belfast Odyssey centre where they're are going to have an Star Wars event with David Prowse (the actor who played, not voiced Darth Vader). W5 Invasion Belfast But I will have left Belfast and be in London... I just haven't timed some aspects of my trip :( We also missed the Singapore Grand Prix by 3 weeks, double :(
