@emptycow It's apparent you aren't a Nintendo fan, and thats whatever, but point in check is that a Mario Bros game was available for it at launch.

Kameo was decent game, sure, but the only way you could really consider Kameo an "AAA" title is if you factor in all the money wasted on it as it changed platforms 3 times and hung in development for 4 years.

@emptycow @buffaloblitz85 New Super Mario Bros. Wii U was available at launch. Can't get more triple A than Mario.

@CuningSnowGecko Maybe because the dev team behind MGR actually managed to put together a solid action game? You know, opposed to Crytek who has made the same stale FPS game three times now with the only emphasis being that each one looks better than the last. But still, the experience is "passable" so why not. In my opinion, the last really good FPS was Half Life 2, so maybe I'm the wrong person to ask. Anyways, a 7.5 means that you in specific are probably going to like the game, especially if your big into FPS. So make you statement by buying Crysis 3 and not MGR. Everyone is happy.

@Khalidosan I'm so tired of the "everyone can be a game designer" indie movement. From masking lame ass pixel graphics with the "retro" adjective, to the bloated, self important egos the super successful indie games have spawned. I have played some really good indie games, but for evrey good one I've played, I've played five others that I thought where garbage. Self important, "look what I can do" garbage.

Reminds me of Aquanaut's Holiday on the PS1, which had you exploring a reef in a submarine. Interesting conceptually, but utterly pointless as a game for the same reasons as this, there are no goals.

I agree with most of the comments here, as while this might be an engrossing experience, without purpose or goals it simply can't be a game. This is GAMEspot, and this is an interactive experience. Perhaps a nice little writeup to let people know about it as an alternative to it being reviewed with an "8", a score many "real" games would hope to achieve.

He speaks of it as if Dead Space 3 was the definitive paramount of a horror video game, and since such is the case, the only reason it's not selling to expectations is because "gamers aren't willing to pay full price for horror products." Horror in of itself isn't a specific genre. It's a theme. A "horror" game can suck or be great just the same as an "army" game, or a game with "meat headed mega marines fighting aliens who burrowed their way up from the center of the earth". This logic is really flawed.

@Kaz32 I don't know if that should be the direction of the reboot, but you got one **** of a great spin-off idea there. They had Resident Evil Presents: Zombie Golf for the Gameboy and that was surrealistically rad in small doses.

@Geminon Aw, c'mon man. Your being a bit rough on him. I think him and his game about punching lego trees has been blown way out of proportion, and I personally never understood the appeal of it, but he's going to give to charities! He and that dipshit that made the PEZ game are often quoted saying vulgarities which only makes them more indietastic.
