Saw this in EDGE already as well, but the designs are looking top notch, and very "Soulish". Still excited as hell.

Very fair review, but I'm a bit confused with the game getting the "Steep Learning Curve" demerit. Regardless of the difficulty, BKS is one of the most simple and straight forward games I've played in recent memory.

I believe, for whatever reason, Zombi U was seriously misunderstood by critics. I thought the game was effective and had a lot of interesting concepts incorporated into it. It's also one of the few "true" survival horror experiences I've played in quite some time. It's not a perfect game, by no means, but I enjoyed my time with it considerably and would definitley put my money on a sequel.

"Crysis 2 looks better than most games." If you cover a shit cake with delicious frosting, guess whats still underneath?

I'll go ahead and say the same thing about the third game. This guy is so full of hot air the dev team he leads up should strap people on his back and charge for balloon rides.

If you want to bolster your potential sales, make sure people know it's a game about shooting dudes with guns. What better way to do this then put a dude with a gun on the box.

Castlevania has been one of my favorite game series collectively since NES days. I even enjoyed the N64 and PS2 games since the spirit of Castlevania was in place, and I even accepted the Wii fighting game as a sort of cute novelty.

That said, I found Lords of Shadow to be one of the biggest gaming disappoints I've experienced this console generation. Everything about the game was inherently wrong to me. The music, the pacing, the character and monster design, Etc.

I'm more than willing to give the 3DS game and the sequel a shot, but I must admit that I'm not expecting much.

@VenkmanPHD @catsimboy I think the issue a lot of people had with Fable 3, myself included, is that it felt extremely dumbed down. I liked evreything else about it except the practically automated social features.

@blakedaking It's a novelty catering to fans. Kind of like the idea of an actual "BAD MOTHERF--KER" wallet. It's something pertaining to the games thats tangible, and in my opinion, a lot cooler than just a shirt that says "Yay GTA V. I played it."
