Electrical tape over it or hot glue.

Hot glue would probably be best.

If you ever tear a trace, I hear good things about thesehttp://www.amazon.com/CircuitWriterTM-Precision-Pen-silver-based-grams/dp/B0002BBVQO/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

just use masking tape whenever using a trace pen...

though it might just be easier to RMA and keep hush.

Ok so I have some store-bought retail DVD sets of TV show seasons that I want to back up. I ripped and burned one disc like I normally do with DVD movies. It seemed fine until I got to the menu. I cannot move the cursor around the menu at all, thus I cannot even watch anything on the disc. This only happens with TV show DVDs, movie DVDs work just fine. How do I properly burn a TV show DVD??

Just get a 3tb WD caviar green, dump it all in there.

So I just got a new case, because my 8 year old peice of crap $20 generic case wasn't cutting it anymore.

When I was swapping out parts, I thought about the last time I used my dvd-rom and it was well over a year ago.

Since my wife has a small size external dvd-rom drive, I didn't even bother moving it cases and I got to thinking about whether anyone else has also dropped optical drives from their machines.

So anyway, did you put an optical drive in your most recent build? thoughts?

How do you install games then? I personally prefer the game in a dvd, so I can have it for later on. Its dirt cheap these days I don't know why you wouldn't put one.

Hey guys!

So im building a new pc as the one I have (on my macbook atm) I only really use for uploading camera pics and music into itunes. Its over 10 years old... yep, you can judge me. So I want something that will last at least 5 years, I dont mind having to upgrade the graphics after that time, but I am mainly looking for a pc that will happily run the newest, and best looking games with the parts ive chosen. Im not going to play it every single day, but something that will handle a few times a week for a few hours some days at most.

Im looking for your thoughts on the parts ive chosen: if you own any of them please tell me your experience with them, or if you know of something better around the same price please give me details and why its better.
If you need any more details, or notice some parts arent compatible please let me know. The ones withgreen*** I am wanting most, so let me know what you think.

I am looking ONLY for an Intel chip, 2 HDDs one pref 500gb and one 1tb. Not sure about how much 'w' is pref for the PSU ill need, but I do already have a good dvd burner so I dont know if that needs to be replaced yet.

CPU:
- Intel core i5 2500k ***
- Intel core i7 2600k

Board:
- Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD5-B3
- Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H ***

Graphics:
- Gigabyte GeForce GTX 670 OC 2GB ***

Memory:
- Corsair Vengeance CML16GX3M4A1600C9 16GB 4x4GB
- Corsair Vengeance CML16GX3M4X1600C7 16GB 4x4GB
- Corsair Veng
eance CMZ16GX3M4X1600C9 16GB 4x4GB

HDD:
- Western Digital Caviar Black 500 GBWD5002AALX, SATA III 6GB
- Western Digital RE4 500 GB WD5003ABYX, SATA III 3 GB
- Western Digital Caviar Black 1 TB WD1002FAEX, SATA III 6 GB

PSU:
- Antec VP650w
- Antec High Current Gamer 620w HCG-620
- Corsair TX-650V2
- Corsair TX-750V2

Optical Drive:

Thanks guys :)

Corsair graphite 600t. Looker and a performer. instead of getting 3 hard drives, just get a 128gig ssd under 100 bucks these days and then get a storage drive something like a 3tb wd caviar green. if u got a bit then go for a 256 gig ssd. then you could just keep all your softwares and programs and even games on tthe ssd and all the movies and other stuff on the 3tb guy. best of luck. I would also recommend getting only 8 gigz as it is more than enough. even 4 gig cuts it for me. if your @ 1080p I would suggest you look at 660ti. about 100 bucks cheaper than the 670 i guess and better value. Itll do all your gaming @ 1080p for years to come. Best of luck buddy. Cherios. :)

I realised yesterday that my dvd drive was not working. I can see it under the device manager tab but there is a yellow exclamation mark on it and when i click properties of that drive the following thing is what I see. Please help. Any help is appreciated. thank you :)

Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)

Thinking of getting a laptop for my daughter and she play's Wow in her spare time. Here are the specs

Intel 3rd Gen core 2.5 GHz

Ram- 8gb DDR3

Hard Drive- 750GB

Graphics- Intel HD graphics 4000-

Curzad
I dont know how people cant run WOW .... My old pc with pentium 4 with its igpu was able to run it nicely, I didnt check the framerates but it was playable. hd 4000 should be able to handle any wow type games well. I was wondering what is the primary use of that laptop going to be and how much will it cost?
