Would upgrading from a single 6870 to a 7850 (1gb) have a substantial performance gain and will you really notice it @ 1080p? I was using 2 6870s in crossfire but I'm letting my son use one for the time being, and I thought about upgrading to a stronger single GPU, which tigerdirect has a XFX Ghost 7850 for only $160. I'm just not too sure if it would be worth it since its only the 1gb version? Or should I just wait and get a 8xxx series GPU?godzillavskongGTX 660 ( Period)
Or you could get this 7850.... @ 160 bucks after MIR. You are welcome :)Hello! im thinking of buying this cardSAPPHIRE RADEON HD7770 GHZ EDITION OC VAPOR-X 1GB DDR5 PCI-E RETAIL should i go to 2gb? and this oneASUS HD7770-DC-1GD5-V2 1GB PCI-E RETAIL which one is better with an amd phenom x4 3.4 ghz 8gb of ram and i heard some rumors that 6850 beats this cards? Thanks

Hmm could be an issue with the hard drive. Just make sure. Also be sure to clean your laptop's inside every once in a while...So my girlfriend's laptop has been acting up pretty bad lately. She's got an Aspire 5532 that eventually couldn't boot up anymore (first it went into the startup repair mode with no positive results and then eventually it wouldn't start at all. You could hear the laptop running but you'd be staring at a black screen).
About a week ago I managed to reinstall a fresh copy of Windows 7. It was an older upgrade copy that had been sitting in my closet for many months. The installation worked, the activation completed successfully, all the updates got downloaded and installed and everything was running fine up until just a few moment ago. She got this blue screen of death upon startup.
Without really knowing what else to do, she held down the power button to shut it down and restart. Now we're both looking at an endless startup repair window that doesn't do anything (won't detect/repair any problems). What could've happened here? I just did a fresh installation of Windows. Could this be hardware related?
Also, that SYSTEM_LICENSE_VIOLATION got me all curious...
EDIT: She manually rebooted the machine and somehow it's currently working again.

Hit the nail on the head there, spambot.
I hate it when mousepads are not compatible.
LMAO. :D[QUOTE="FelipeInside"][QUOTE="Diwashb"]Sorry. Look at DLink Routers, they have some nice models and are good with wireless. Now I think ur confused though. The WAN port has nothng to do with WiFi. Couldn't I just plug in the lan cable that comes from the other router already connected to the internet in the WAN port of a router and get wifi? Actually I and my neighbour share internet and pay equally. So the lan cable on my desktop is currently from his home and router which is about 50 metres away and there are a few houses between so i cant get any wifi signal. i was wondering if i connect the LAN cable coming from his routers LAN port to a new routers WAN port will i get wifi ? Also if I connect a LAN cable from my routers LAN port to my computer will I get internet on my desktop as well?YAY 5ghz vs 2.4 ghz battle begins. Anyone want to go back on the topic and suggest me a 2.4 ghz router? with external antennas that has a wan port? Do i need to setup anything or just plugging in the lan cable on the wan port of the rouiter will give ouit wifi?

Do you use a mousepad or use your desk when using your mouse? Which do you think is better? I tend to use my desk rather than a mousepad.katana_duoMousepad. Just get any. Even my laptop sleeve tends to work as one :)
