Funny how one call can change everything.

UC Davis called me yesterday to inform me I have been accepted into their MBA program. Now I get to work AND go to school AND have a new addition to my family this Fall.

Yeah, I am feeling a little overwhelmed.

I unintentionally prepared myself for those late night/early morning school days last night. Oi. Final Fantasy Tactics is fun and all. . . but I don't need to be up until 3:00 in the morning playing it.

I don't think I ever functioned on four hours of sleep very well, nor do I think I can do it consistently in the future, particularly as I am getting older.

Never underestimate the value of a good night's rest.

If I liquidate my old comic collection, it is conceivable that I could procure a PSP. . . maybe I should get that DS I want too. . .

I must applaud SCE for being against "adult entertainment" on their platform. I just wish we could safely rule it out.

Things I am getting over:

• My love of my job
• My frustration with my Brothers-in-law
• My irritation at not playing games
• My infatuation with the PSP
• My need to check Gamespot every three minutes
• My sleepless nights playing Final Fantasy Tactics Advance for GBA

The idea of action game characters participating in an RPG is interesting. The concept of Klonoa and Street Fighter going tactical. . . more interesting. If the King of All Cosmos makes an appearance? Perfect!

I wonder if Ivy from SCII will be in attendance. . ?

Well, we had three before, but now we have four. My brothers in law and I headed out last night to a certain retail location and purchased a fourth XBOX controller. . . since we couldn't find the third. I'm not even sure we will find the third.

Funny how when you don't write in your journal you lose a little piece of your life.

My brothers in law arrived on Friday. They are dedicated to playing games. All they want to do is play XBOX, PS2 and Super Nintendo. They came for the express purpose of work, but it is not looking good for them. . . unless they buckle-down and get jobs. It's funny how I sound more and more like my father, and less and less like myself when I talk to them.

The irony.

Pokemon is the talk of the town nw with the millions upon millions of products shipped. I was into Pokemon when I was in college. No, it is true. Why did I just post that to a public forum?

Funny, the new DS style didn't look like Mew. . .

I hate to say it, but with Bioware developing for the XBox360. . . I may have to go that rate with H3 coming out on that platform as well as other possible games which match my interest.

Dang, and here I thought I was going to go with the PS3.

I still haven't ruled out the Revolution. Nintendo just isn't a wildcard, it is the only family-friendly console I see as an option. ESPECIALLY with a huge back catalog! Booyah!

Now that I have advanced to Ring King status, I hope to be free from the Toobin' curse once and for all!
