@dev-raid1: They probably intentionally limited production so it wouldn't overshadow the switch.

@videogameninja: You totally missed the opportunity of using "Classical pun ninja approved" here. -5 points.

@FrozenHELL78: "Couple years"? Try next year :P. There's no other reason why Nintendo would not produce SNES classic past the end of this year, and given the current trend (last year NES classic, this year SNES classic), next year is most likely n64.

@derek: It still is a console exclusive for them. They probably did fund development for it, though I'm not sure why they aren't publishing it. I'm guessing the devs wanted a PC release while Sony didn't.

So a monster hunter-ish game but with competitive elements? That sounds pretty interesting actually, as if two guilds are competing against each other in each mission.

@Thanatos2k: That's what I mean. "Expansion Pack" sequels tend to have a high risk of getting bad review scores since they often don't push the envelope enough to warrant a full purchase, but it's nice to see that Splatoon 2 doesn't fall into that category. I wasn't trying to argue with you, just more reacting to your point about it being all 8's across the board.
