My parents have been discussing getting me my own laptop. Mum has already given me a 1GB thumb drive with GIMP and paintNET (I have GIMP brushes on it now too). Dad is scouting around on TradeMe (like eBay for New Zealanders, which also sells first-hand goods). They are planning to buy it with my Retard Fund.
And by Retard Fund, I mean the money that the council gives them ($35 (NZ) every fortnight) for having to support a retard - ie, me (although I doubt they call it Reatrd Fund - they probably call it Mental Illness Benefit or omething).

So hopefully, I can be a proper artists, even if it takes a couple of months before
1) I get the laptop, and
2) figure out what GIMP is compared to Photoshop, with which I am much more familiar.

Hopefully it will also mean I can use the internet as I like aswell.

It has taken me a very long time, but I have finally finished my longest and most time-wasting wallpaper. That Desert Dragon picture I drew and scanned into my images? Well, I have now digitally painted it over the course of about 1.5 weeks. This is actually the second time I'm telling you (the teacher turned off the internet as I was posting) but it is now on my deviantART profile. You can view the wallpaper HERE... after this long, it had better be worth it!

I have recently discovered the program that is Pivot. It lets you animate stickmen and stickcharacters (or sorts) into your own *.gif. Since this is the oNLY animation this cpmputer can do, I'm quite pleased with what I DO manage to hash together. Unfortunately, when saving as a *.gif (as opposed to a pivot, or *.piv, file) is that any frames which are identical to the previous are blended into one. For that reason, 'Dog Mess' (in which a dog messes a leg), the 'dog' moves on far to quickly, because the moment it would normally pause, the frames are identical. The same is with the blacking out in 'Knocked Out', and the speed of the flies around the dead rabbit in 'Dead Bunny'. So the timing is weird. But I think 'Stuck in Box' is probably my favourtie, although you can't make it too small.

It's my birthday next Turesday on 11 March! I will be turning 17! And if you're wondering why I'm not turing 18, seeing as I said I was 17 a couple of weeks ago, is because (du) I was about 16.98 years old, and that rounded up easily to 17. But now it's official! Not that being 17 lets you do anything. I can already watched R16s, I can already do all the 16-and-up stuff, and I'm not 18 so all of that is still disallowed. So, now that I'm thining of it, why don't we just trade that cake for some biscuits instead....

...actually I'm a bit miffed. My school has Athletic sports then. It used to be last Wednesday, but it was too wet. My birthday was going to be Day 6 of the timetable (meaning first period OFF!) and I had no gym in the morning, meaning I could sleep in almost 2 hours for my birthday! But now I have to be there no early, but (being a Year 13) EARLY! EARLY EARLY EARRRRLLLYYYYYY!!!!! And the mufti doesn't appeal anymore because I can wear mufti all the time anyway. Oh, woe... I was quite looking forward to my birthday until HAvelock North High School screwed me over.

...you know it's true.

Anyway, as a non-subscriber, my wallpapers don't come up with search terms. I have to rely on broswers that subscribe (which they don't) people who favourite (which they hardly do) or people that see my wallpaper in the 'most recently uploaded' area (before they're puched down again).

Make no mistake, these are no MS Paint jobs. Look at my images to see them, in the album 'Selfmade Wallpapers' (there are more than the latest six shown... that's not even half!).

If you want to see a full-size image for your own use, click the image (so it's larger) and then, below the title (and above the Description) click 'Show Original'. In an effort to show it all, GameSpot will distort the paper by stretching the picture (sideways). Right-click and say 'Save Picture As...' so save it to your Hard Drive, or right-click and chose 'Set As Background' to put it there directly.

These are made mostly in 1280x960, although I think there are a few 1200x900s in there.
There are no WIDESCREEN versions in that album but email me if you would like them in that format. In most cases (the 1280x960 ones) you can just crop off the bottom, and in several others, with black sides, you can just add the black to the sides yourself to make it wider. However if you experience problems with strethcing of doing this, then you can email me at the above ink (if the link doesn't work, or opens up a program you don't use, just email me at dragon-cub@hotmail.com in your own way!).

All party for FetusZero and his new job at what gamers all crave to be - a video game tester! In what other game can you be paid to drool at a television screen? (Mind you, if they force him to play the 'Rugrat's Official PS2 Game'... I guess he may cry).
Isn't that great?! He's still on a trial thing but with his... experience... he'll most likely sail through.

Anyway, I hope that FZ, the Canadian... well, the only noun I can think of that begins with C is 'crap' and 'cake' which don't work. Neither does 'koala'. Our FZ, the Candaian... cougar? I don't know. Although I suppose in Canada they call cougars 'Candaian Lions' (also known as mountain lion or puma).
I hope he likes cougars. I like cougars. Why would anyone not like cougars? Go visit him and tell him how much you like cougars!

Although some elements of the GameSpotness of Communityness are still active... somewhat... as a whole, most of the forums are now rarely frequented by more than a few select users. Don't believe me? Check out TSP and see how of the 800 members, only about 8 really ever go there often enough to be merited as 'active'. Even check out the GameSpot forums - many of the same names are repeated over the weeks, with little variation - perhaps a lost user who has tragically fallen onto a 'submit' button (and other random character buttons, judging by 'soz m8' type writing).

GameSpot's real value now lies in it's reviews. It also has many good user reviews - which everyone submits and nobody reads, so take that back, because FINDING those good reviews is an impossible feat.

So, the best thing that is on here is cheats! Yes, cheaty cheaty cheats, and guidey guides, mwahahahahaha, feel my evil power!
But many of us don't like cheats, so I guess they only get... um... updates. Which I myself do not like anyway...

Anyone who knows me will know I cannot 'sit still' on an avatar (like.... somebody we know?)
