@Ripper_TV You have to remember that this is footage of an alpha build. A lot can and probably will change between this and the full release.

I don't think I've ever heard someone use 'uh' or 'um' quite so much in my life... Seriously, 10 points to the person who can figure out how many times he uses them during this video.

Honestly, is there anyone who was surprised that they made a mediocre Alien game? It's like the Terminator series, great movies, but third party add-ons just fall flat...

Something tells me that my laptop is going to sh*t a brick when I try to play this game...

@mike300zxt Although I agree that consistent online DRM is wrong and not a way to move forward, it's not a major concern of mine. Take for example Diablo III, one of the biggest wastes of $60 I had last year, but the DRM had nothing to do with it, it was just boring as hell. Let me explain, I work out of town a lot, and I'm not always staying somewhere with a viable internet connection, so when I realized that D3 required a consistent connection, I grew concerned. However, within three weeks of my launch day purchase I went onto my favorite torrent host, and lo and behold, a no-online crack. Honestly, consistent online DRM has gone from evil to just plain laughable to me. There isn't a single security system a publisher can install that won't be subverted by someone smarter in very short order. Now let me be clear, I don't believe in pirating games, if I like a series and the next installment looks good, I'll buy the game, but if you're going to stipulate when or where I can play a game I just payed retail price for, I'm gonna do my damnedest to thrust a one finger salute your way...

Also, just a little side note; how is 'damnedest' a recognized word in the comments spell check, when 'internet' is not? Mysteries of life...

@jookiyaya Just imagine playing a game and having peripheral vision. I am very much looking forward to this.

@Nminator_236 Although I whole-heartedly agree with the part about cessation of the appeasement of all those whining PC anuses out there, it's not the male/female aspect of this product that I find offensive. Personally, I find it more visually offensive than anything. Whether it was released as a male or a female, it's not really something I would want on display in my apartment. I mean it's got to raise certain questions about a person's character when you walk into someone's home and see a dismembered corpse on display (although something tells me it would be slightly more off-putting if it was real...).

@ScreamDream It actually sounds pretty feasible. I gave up on programming in my highschool days in visual basic and C++, but (correct me if I'm wrong) it would only take a writable medium for the games (not too hard to do), and a transparent password based console serial number written to the game disc to implement. Personally I believe this sort of business practice is wrong since it'll kill an entire market and probably cost a lot of jobs in the long run when places like Gamestop start cutting back due to lost revenue. Frankly, I'm not too worried though since I'm a PC gamer, and I'm sure someone will find a way to hack the system they implement shortly after it's put in use.

@SythisTaru Please people of the web, stop quoting this for the love of god. Also, Titov sounds like the most big-headed small dev I've ever heard of. DayZ is better, hands down, and it's still in alpha. 'Nuf said.
