@Hurvl @Emerald_Scott Yeah, that's the thing. It has a great story which can appeal to both the fans and the masses, which is why, although I'm apprehensive about it, I think a feature film could work.
They needed to do something else after the success of Mortal Kombat. In my opinion, it would have been difficult to top it with another entry in the series. Also, I think it would've been too soon to have another MK. I personally feel that fighting games need a 3-4 year gap between sequels, so that they can feel fresh again.
I think that's why they went back to the DC Universe. I don't know what other IPs NetherRealm Studios own, so I don't know what else they could've done. But yeah, I think they should just leave the DC Universe alone.
Femshep would like to have a word with you. Anyway, you're just trying to be an ass and it's not working 'cause you know you will buy the game anyway. Even if it had female protagonists.
