I support the reasoning behind the operations but not the 'collateral damage'. Two different things. I always look at '3rd party" sources, in that the figures I posted was from a third party source (Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center).

Isn't that the same reasoning that Hamas and others are using? Keep pushing us and we will push back. You can't trample over us without some consequences. So are you ok with their reasoning?

BTW the casualties for operation Cast Lead was 13 to 1300.

Deadliest Warrior got gimmicky when they started comparing specific people instead of civilisation, etc. I mean come on. Washington vs Napoleon! How can you compare these two based on weapons only. They were leaders. Their tactics are much more important than their weapons.

That's like if they had Westmoreland (US)vs Giap (Viet Cong). Sure, on paper the US would win with its weapons, but tactics would play a much bigger role. It's become too silly now.:roll:

Should it exist? Yes. Should it discriminate against theminority Palestinian/ Muslim/ Christian Israelis? No.

The facts on the ground today are much different than they were back in the 60's or 70's. On one hand, Israel likes to tout itself as a modern, advanced country. On the other hand it pretends to be the victim that is on the verge of collapse.

Yes, Israel is the only real democracy in the Middle East (Lebanon is kind of a democracy though), but so what? Does that give it carte blanche to do as it pleases? Americans like to make that argument, but ignore the fact that the US is one of the main, if not THE main, reason why it is so.

I said it before and I'll say it again. IE9 and Chrome. IE9 is the most stable. Chrome doesn't play well when you have to log in to secure sites or even when trying to print from Google maps. Little things like that, which really add up, make me stay with IE9

Why do we have these regulations in the first place? Would the US ( or the world) be a better place if we had regulation from the 19th century?

Corporations are there to make money. Bottom line. If that mean more mercury in your food because it was easier to dump it than to dispose of it properly then so be it. Don't worry the public won't find out because the big companies can just pay off or buy the media.

I'll stick to IE9 and Chrome. They play the best with my online banking and printer.
