Grave Of The Fire Flies is the saddest movie I have ever seen.
It is the tale of two children who are growing up in pre and post nuclear hit Japan. This Anime is not like other anime. This is a serious drama you should not go into unless you are prepared for heartache. No matter what I say might spoil the story for you if your brave enough to watch it. How ever this film is now in English and Nippon so if you speak ether this is for the strong of you. If you are not touched in any way by this film delete me from your friends list.

In the near future, Japan[Nippon] is ruled once more by a royal family as an isolated state. Rebels opposed to this rule seek to overthrow the government. The House of Takemikazuchi, a band of Assassinsare hired by the royals to eliminate the rebels. As a conspiracy from within signals the shadow organization's impending destruction, Yuki the last of the Takemikazuchi bloodlinefalls for one of the rebels and gos for revenge against the group's Master.

This movie is really good and I recommend it for any one who has no problem with subtitles or has a grasp on Japanese.

I love forign films. I have a huge Japanese collection, an Italian film I can't seem to ever find, and a few others

Because of a new friend of mine I'll start with Avalon a movie penned by a japanese guy but made in Poland. About a future world, where young people are increasingly becoming addicted to an illegal [and some timesfatul] battle simulation game called Avalon. The main protagonist is a woman called Ash played by Malgorzata Foremniak who is trying to beat the master of the game of whom I wont spoil the story for you.

Heh that came out better than I thought.

I have been doing the family tree and I thought I'd have a change. So I made the new one above. The words are a littel small they read "FALCON084 AGE: TRACING MY ORIGINS" a take off of Dragon Age: Origins. I think it's my best looking what do you guys and gals think?

I am dieing for FF13 and it's not long now till it's out. But there are supposed to be many 13's namely agito and versus. Does any one know any thing new about these two games in the Fabula Nova Crystalis Final Fantasy series?

Canada is a place I have always thought of as a cold variation of Australia. Its the home of Stargate, Moose, Rocky and Bulwinkle, the Mongolian migration of Indians into the USA, Celine Dionand Mounties. I just watched the Ending Cerimony of the Winter Olympics and it was brilliant. I have always liked the Mounties Uniforms but I think if I was a crim I'd see them coming in the snow from about thirty miles away with out my glasses. Australia did ok especialy for a nation with barley any snow. Tasmania [a state of AUS and an Island] could probabley do it in our version of winter, but the olyimpic commity would have to change the date it's held.

Are there any Aussies, Ireland, Scotish, Welsh New Zealander and Canadians who would like to create one nation between us with our contries as the states. I have always liked the idea of the commenwealth but now the queen mom is dead I would not mind a Republic in AUS. Each nation has the same laws and are all in the commenwealth. As an added bonus to our Union Ireland would be able to break away from England as they have always wanted. Brittan could join of course if they beacme a republic. Peace in the world [well in the new commenwealth any way] Serious or not what do you think :question: :)

I have been meaning to write this down for a while but didn't get round to it.

Final Fantasy VII Advent Children Compleat is out now in AUS and even if you have the first version [like me] go out and buy this too. It is Awesome. I'll keep the old one for the making of section. It is much longer than the first and has new features including a FF13 Trailer. If you buy from Nippon you'll get a free FF13 Demo. The story has more characters in it some old fave's return and there is a halfan hour animestoryof Denzel who apart from the last movie is new to the series. Bit sad but a good edition. The main movie is in both Nippon and English. Also has subtitles for many many languages.
