@Lordcrabfood Sorry to say it, but Nintendo lost much of its' 3rd party support long ago, by hook or by crook. Some have come back, but very few do more than either give half assed support, or shovelware. They have a better shot with their new found love for the indie scene.

@Morokoo So what, in about 2 years? That's when I plan on getting mine. Usually comes as a holiday bundle or an after E3 "surprise".

This is pretty funny, I just went on a rant the other day about the butchering of SP in SFIV, on Gamespot!!

Just to recap, SFIV allowed to to view the opening and ending cinematics of the characters you have finished the game. The SSFIV update got rid of it, as well as the A.E. version. I know the stories are corny, silly, and sometime downright dumb, but I liked to earn them. I played SP in SFIV all the time, only did it to learn the new characters after that. Haven't even finished the game again unless I'm playing SFIV. I don't want to beat the game with a character that has a bad ass ending only to have to beat the game again just to see it.

@Lordcrabfood ??? Why? I think Nintendo proved with the Wii that being the most powerful system may be nice, but being the cheaper second system for gamers with those other, more powerful systems is more profitable. Their goals now seem more focused towards keeping a hand in the wallet or pocketbook of their older fans and their kids.

I can take or leave Halo, and I never owned a God of War game (rented the hell out of them though), but I own LOZ:OoT for the N64, two copies for the GC, and the 3DS version. Totally stupid, I agree (although, the GC games either came free with a subscription or as a pre-order bonus). Also probably one of the reasons I got an email to check out the Wii U this past summer before the system came out

"On top of this, if Sony and Microsoft decide to sell their next-generation platforms on a price-competitive level with the Wii U....."

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Ha.

They'll release at least $100 more than the Wii U, and (very rightfully so, IMHO, written as a Wii U owner) tell us they aren't competing with the Wii U. Then they'll show us the chats with their Hardware Specs to prove it. Patcher is just happy that Wii U sales have slowed down enough that he can start talking about Nintendo again.

"Iwinski explained that CD Projekt Red would never feel comfortable downscaling the game for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, a move that would result in a "so-so" offering."

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't they have to downscale games for the 360 and PS3 already? Just tell us it wouldn't be profitable.

" "Why would you make them wait some period of time, months in some cases, to start making new stuff so you can say it was after DLC?" Hines said."

There's a difference between having new stuff ready, and actually releasing it. Selling me DLC (and by this I mean complete campaigns/levels/) on the same day I bought the games is BS. Extra maps, I can deal with. The base game usually has a decent amount to start off with, and the extras are for the hardcore fans. Buying extra level/campaigns/etc etc on day one that add to the actual story just feels wrong.

IMHO (bear with me), it's like going to that strip club that has two sections; The first one is your typical club with a few poles, the other costs an extra $20 to get in, but supposedly has better looking girls (I told you to bear with me). So you go into the first room, have a great time, and say, "Hell, I'll pay the $20 if it gets better than this!", and go to the back. About 30 minutes later, you're sitting with your friends saying, "It's not bad, but I only see one or two performers (out of 10) in here that might have made this worth it, the rest of them could have been in the front!". That's what most day one DLC feels like to me. Thoughts?

Like EA could afford Disney's price right now...... Give it a year, then they'll consider a reasonable offer, maybe.

@franizarduy So my age is why I'm not impressed with the next gen systems? OK, that makes much more sense.
