@hystavito: Controller inputs are only limited if you're using the Joy-Con as 2 separate controllers, there should be no problems if they are on the grip or the system.
"Hayward went on to say that Codemasters would have to do "quite a lot in terms of extra tweaks" to support the Switch's unique features, including its Joy-Con motion controllers."
See, the problem doesn't just lay with Nintendo, it spreads itself to 3rd parties. Unless we all missed the news, Nintendo is not forcing developers to make every game take advantage of the Joy-Con's ability to function as two separate controllers. Don't use that as an excuse to not port a game.
@kaminobenimizu: I'm having the same issues. I don't think they should get residuals, but they do have a point in wanting more upfront information when it comes to auditions.
"While this is a curious and unorthodox approach to dealing with in-game money, selling materials is needlessly laborious."
While I do agree, I find it easier to come to terms with when you know that fact upfront. The first time I can remember a game that implemented this was FFXII. I was used to hording all dropped items, because in past games you usually ended up needing the materials for something.
@Tiwill44: Last announced event, still got 7 weeks of torture to go. I'm guessing that one of the rumored titles that didn't get mentioned will pop up in about 3 weeks.
Eternal Darkness on VC or remastered, the ability to connect your external Wii U HDD to the Switch to transfer compatible games and accounts, something to play out of the box if getting my old stuff isn't possible, a decent amount of memory/free mem card (done so in the past, so why not), and for the love of every fan out there, a reason to want to watch the follow up video Friday morning.
If Platinum owns it and has done a bunch of work... could we see a Switch version? At the very least the engine used might be compatible with the Switch. PG and Nintendo have had a good relationship in the past, so there could be options.
