Got the game a few weeks ago, haven't been able to log on yet (only tried twice, so not real dig). Not a real issue since I really wanted to wait until the story mode came out and I found a compatible stick before I bought the game in the first place. Hearing issues on input lag makes me consider skipping the stick and just playing like I did when I had a DC.
The animated series played with the idea of different fathers, so I'm glad the comics had done something different to shake up the WW world. I plan on buying the first few books at least.
@Baconstrip78: My point was that while I might not be the biggest MP gaming fan, if the game is a 9 the game is a 9. Too many people here arguing that the score is too high considering what it is, or that it's too expensive for what you're getting.
"Gaming doesn't just need to cater to introverted dorks with no friends who only enjoy grindy single-player slogs. Gaming has evolved and reviewers shouldn't punish it for that."
And what's that all about? I was agreeing with the score even though I don't normally like to pay that much for a MP experience. I was also pointing that while a game may get a high score, the review is coming from a person that got to play the entire game for free. Very rarely is that fact brought up when people are bashing reviews and who did them. Gaming also doesn't need to cater to people who have no real ideal of the definition of the word "friend" and only talk to other humans through a mic. Gaming has evolved to the point where you can have FULL SP and MP elements in the same game. GTAV did it just fine. Not saying every game can be GTA, but it worked.
Do I hate games that are full price but only have about 5 hours of real content (before MP)? Yes, but it doesn't mean they don't deserve high scores. This reviewer gave it a 9. I've only seen one review (IGN) years ago where the reviewer openly admitted the score they gave was influenced by the fact they didn't have to pay for the game. That game got a 7.5.
I love Ocean's 11, both the 1960's and the 2001 reboot. I also can see myself enjoying a heist film with all female leads. But this.......
""With a team of thieves, she sets out of steal a necklace from the Met Ball...." You're already going to have people talking crap about it being a female reboot, and you have them stealing a necklace.
@ahpuck: That only proves that 62% (just read the article, but I believe it was 62.5%) of the voters value football in that area. I'm not a huge fan of living here myself, but they take care of their own (to some degree), and you really can't argue with no state taxes.
