320 hours of Call of Duty 4 and CoD5 is closing in...

It was Double EXP weekend in Call of Duty 4 and I managed to climb from Level 6 Prestige 45 to Level 7 Prestige 40. I've slept only about 4 hours in the course of 2 nights and now I have a headache and feeling pretty tired... but now I'm closer to Prestige Level 10, a Golden Cross!

I still have time before November 14th, when Call of Duty 5 is being released... wish me luck.:)

Impressed by Wii's Okami and being a Master of Dragon Sword in Ninja Gaiden II

Okami

When Okami was first released on PlayStation2 in 2006 I was (as a long-time Zelda fan) immediately jealous and wanted to experience that strange Japanese mythology and art that Okami had to offer.

Now I finally started playing Okami on the Wii and it has been amazing. Wii as a whole has been a nice breath of fresh air, since I've mostly played very serious shooters and RPG's on Xbox360 lately.

Not everything is perfect in Okami though. Drawing lines and circles is sometimes a little too difficult than it should be and at least for me it took around 4 hours to really get into the game. Now I realise that I should have read the included manual first.

Of course there will be a review of Wii's Okami in time.

Ninja Gaiden II

Since there should be some playable downloadable content for Ninja Gaiden II in the near future I'm happy to tell you that I'm a Master of Dragon Sword, since I played the entire game by using only Dragon Sword.8)

What comes to those four different difficulty settings it must be confessed that I didn't even make it to the first save point in Path of Mentor.:?

I have now played through Ninja Gaiden, Ninja Gaiden Black, Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword and Ninja Gaiden II. Hopefully this downloadable content maintains that same high Ninja Gaiden quality, although Tomonobu Itagaki left Team ninja and sued Tecmo.

160 hours of CoD4 and still going strong

I've now played 160 hours of Call of Duty 4's multiplayer and now I've also found my weapon: AK-47 with Stopping Power, Bandolier and Martyrdom. I'm now on third Prestige and again I'm planning to get Red Tiger Camouflage for my AK-47.

And now it's time to play Team Deathmatch and Headquarters, because there are still many Prestige modes to conquer.

GTAIV awaits me

Today is Wednesday April 30 th and it's only about 5 hours and I'll be able to start playing GTAIV on Xbox360. I have nothing else to do so It's going to be a long night...

Liberty City here I come.8)

Suicidal clan in Call of Duty 4

Today me and my teammates faced an unusual clan in Call of Duty 4's Ground War mode.

Match began in Strike and until the bitter end DETH-clan tried to break through to us via a narrow alley, when they could have flanked us very easily. But no: they ran like Russians in Finland's Winter War straight to our fire.

The second match started in Crossfire and I was sure that we would not have that same kind of luck anymore. I couldn't believe my eyes: they approached us by walking in line in the middle of a street! Of course our team formed a half-circle while taking cover and slaughtered them in a vicious crossfire until the end of the match.

After this second match the DETH-clan vanished into thin air.;)

I'm truly amazed about DETH-clan.:|

Shocked about Wii's Medal of Honor : Heroes 2

On Friday I finally got my copy of Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 for the Nintendo Wii and it was a terrible experience at least in the multiplayer. On the positive side the controls work just fine and the music is that same high quality orchestrated musical score as it has always been. And then...

The game is so ugly that it makes me want to cry. For some unknown reason there's no widescreen support and on my TV there are black bars on both sides of the screen. Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition already showed how a widescreen display is done properly.

Animation of characters is ridiculous and you need to shoot an insane amount of bullets into your opponent before he dies. You'll very soon learn to aim for the head and only for the head.

There is an option to play Team Deathmatch, but there's no headset to communicate with your team mates. So what's the point of having Team Deathmatch anyway? And of course there's no possibility to create preassigned parties to play with your friends in a same game like in Halo 3 or Call of Duty 4.

I'm very, very disappointed.
