Current Video Gaming Life+New Emblem

So this is in form of a video blog seperated in 3 vids since I can't upload vids longer than 10 minutes. Each game has its own trailer in my blog vids, so thats why they are pretty long. Check it out! Oh and I also got a new emblem for all of this hard work:

Anyone lookin for a PSP Theme?

You can check up The PSP Demo Center, people, such as myself, can upload their own custom themes. The link I posted directly sends you to the Custem Themes section, but you can also check the official PSP themes in the downloads section, as well as find a ton of downloadable demos for your PSP. You can even download my own ICP Theme! Easy to find, it's called "Insane Clown Posse Theme" and the Author is of course "FetusZero". It got posted yesterday and this morning I had 78 hits on it so far which means I'm glad that some people are enjoying it.

The site is also accessible with your PSP if you prefer direct downloads directly onto it, and for once, it's a site that works very well on the PSP.

Just thought I'd tell you all that my theme has been uploaded on the site, and plus you can find other good stuff (such as the demos and many, MANY wallpapers). Some people have real good themes too. I personally really like the "Neon PSP" one, which is the original icons of the PSP but with a neon glow to it, it looks pretty sweet.

Storm feeding caught on film!

That's right! I recorded Storm catching a prey for the first time, just for you're eyes to witness! Quickly go to my videos section and check out the video named "Storm Feeding" or watch it right here since it is more simple than going to the vids section.

Leave your comments if you want, sorry for the bad quality but that's the best I could do.

Also, if you still haven't seen my new custom PSP theme, be sure to check it out as well in my videos section.

ICP Theme finished!

So yep, I have finished my PSP custom theme about Insane Clown Posse. I recorded a video blog for it, just for your pelasure, although my voice might not be for your pleasure lol!

"Here's my custom PSP theme, hope you enjoy, sorry for my pronounciation, eh that's how it is when you're french! Hope you enjoy anyway."

I've heard far much worst people than me though, so it's all good ;]

Player's Ball Emblem!

Player's Ball Emblem

It's a treat when famous players meet.
This person did it real big with GameSpot and got wild on a Tuesday night at the GameSpot Players' Ball. Whether you saw the action from the confines of your own home or, like a true cross-country mack, stepped out into the spotlight with us live and in person, we sincerely appreciate it. If we could give you all a ride in our snotty-nosed ham sandwich with the brains blown, we totally would. That's a car, by the way.

So that's my new emblem! A pretty sweet, shiny, golden disco ball! Congrats to myself! I now have 3 rows filled with emblems! I wonder which emblem will be the first to make it to my fourth line, but only time will tell for this one.

Storm came out! New pics!

So after I've fed Storm with the pinkie, she wandered out of her burrow for the whole weekend! I don't know why she did, but once a week or so, she just comes out and wanders around. So while my girlfriend was here, I grabbed her camera and took a few pics, five of which I've kept to post on GameSpot. The pictures originally were 1600x1200 pixels, so I had to crop them to a size of 320x240 pixels for them to fit in my blog.

Anyway, here's Storm taking a nap on the oposite side of her burrow:

Storm then decided, through the night, to go back to her burrow. I caught her right into action when I woke up this morning. Here she is slowly making her way into her home:

And just for the sakes of it, I took a picture of Storm inside the burrow, at the same time, it gives you a look at her burrow, not from the side, but from the top view. I would take a picture from the side, only problem is that she webbed the whole sides so we can't actually see much inside the burrow from the sides. Anyway, here's a pic of Storm inside her burrow and a close-up pic as well.

The burrow could have been much deeper, but unfortunately I ran out of substrate when filling her new cage, meaning she doesn't have much depth to dig in. Still, this burrow reaches the bottom of the tank (almost) and there is about 3-4 inches deep of substrate.

Hope ya'll like the new pictures! The quality is a bit better than my other ones since I used an actual camera instead of my webcam, but the cropping and resizing just made the quality drop down a bit. Hope you enjoy it!

Custom Theme News+Video Gaming News

So I'm almost done with my Insane lown Posse custom theme for my PSP. I've got a few icons left to work out and it's pretty hard to figure out what to do with them. I mean after all these icons I've done, I'm truely starting to lack of ideas for the remaining icons. Why do the PSP had to have so much icons anyway? Still, I'm close to my goal, mostly have the network and a couple settings icons left to do, all while trying to remain into my ICP theme which is getting hard since I can't possibly think of any related stuff about them with the icons, but I still manage to do so. Sticking with a certain color scheme for the different categories and all helped out alot for ideas on each different icons, as well as a few ressemblance between imagesand icons, such as the USB Connection icon, I took the logo of Insane Clown Posse that is made with crop circles, which is totally different from the original icon, yet the crop circles style made me think of an USB icon, stuff like that. Same for the Date&Time settings icon. ICP often went on about the number 17 (some joke they made way back then since their first album sold 17 copies at first, the number stuck as an in-joke through songs in further releases) so any combination giving out 17 stuck with them, such as the time 2:15 (2 + 15 = 17) which obviously makes me think about the Date&Time settings. This is just stuff that sticks to my theme and yet works well with the icons themselves which is pretty cool, but you sure as hell gotta know ICP for that stuff. Anyway, when I'm done with it I'll post a preview image, although I could probably do so right now since I'm almost done, but I just don't feel like taking pics or putting up a preview image right now lol.

As for my video gaming habits, yeah I have many games still to finish, but I had a urge to start playing Metal Gear Solid series again and so I poped in Twin Snakes on my GameCube. I haven't played it since last year and it only adds to my several currently playing games, but a lil' oldies from time to time ALWAYS feels good. All hail Snake!

Pinkie VS Storm

Who won? Storm of course! Today, being friday, is the day of the feeding for my tarantula pet. Instead of the usual few crickets, I offered Storm a newly born pinkie. For those who still don't know, a pinkie is a baby mouse. Yep, that cruel but hey, that's the wonders of nature working their magic.

For those who are aware, I tried feeding Storm with a pinkie (though she was more mature than this one) a while back, but Storm was getting ready to molt and therefore, the baby mouse was too big of a meal for her to handle before a molt. This time around though, she jumped on it.

At first, the pinkie is newly born so it could barely stand on its feet. I had to do something before it would die of natural cause. I attracted Storm out of her burrow a bit with a stick, then put the pinkie close to Storm's burrow and the pinkie eventually kicked the web from trying to get back onto its feet, cause it was laying on its back. So at first, Storm not being used to this, stood up on her back legs and shown her fangs to threaten the little baby mouse being like "dude, this be my home and you can't f*ck around my place" and eventually, I turned my back for a few seconds and when I turned back: no more pinkie. I checked in the burrow, Storm had the pinkie deeply hooked with her fangs and Storm just started walking around with a paralyzed baby mouse stuck in her fangs. She started webbing and everything, while holding the pinkie with her fangs. Was quite an interesting thing to see.

Right now, Storm started sucking the life out of the pinkie. I can see the blood drip from the pinkie's body and the holes that the fangs left, since Storm moves her fangs around inside the prey. It's pretty gruesome, but interesting to watch.

Storm ate her first pinkie!

Um...Although you can't see very well, I will post a pic of Storm holding the dead bloody pinkie with her fangs. You can discern the pinkie (pink/beige thing) with the blood near Storm's fangs. I didn't get too close for the pic since I didn't want to stress Storm while she is eating, which probably would be bad for me or my webcam lol. Anyway, here it is:

Tryna get a new job!

Yesterday, Toys'R'Us called me for an interview, which happened today. So, Toys'R'Us is a pretty cool place and I'd like to work over there and I feel like the interview thing went pretty well. Now, I know I said I'd stick with landscaping since we're eventually going to move pretty far, but hey, I still gotta have a job cause landscaping is coming to end slowly, s why not?

On a second note about employment, something happened this evening. I went pick up my girlfriend at the subway station like I do once or twice a week. Ya see, there's this free newspaper stand on the outside and it usually seems to be a prettysh*tty newspaper. This evening was no exception, but I decided to pick it up and check it out while waiting on my girlfriend. Talk about a coincidence, I found a company (Babel media) which is growing bigger and recently installed itself in Montreal. They are currently searching for video game testers! I took the newspaper home with me and without waiting a second, e-mailed 'em an application for the job. I got an e-mail back saying that they received my application and all. Hopefully I'll be chosen which would be very f*cking sweet, although I have absolutly no experience in that domain other than my usual video gaming hobbie, but hey, it's video game tester, I don't see what other kind of requirement is needed other than being able to write the reports to tell the bugs and all that were found. It would be really, REALLY f*cking sweet. We never know! Don't judgesh*tty ass newspaper before opening them!

New Speakers+Storm news!

So tonight I went to Wal-Mart (yes, good ol' wal-mart as Curtis said) and I found 2 speakers with a sub priced at $30 which can be connected to basicaly whatever can have headphones such as PC's, MP3 Players, bla bla bla. So I bought it for my laptop since I pretty much use my laptop as my stereo to listen to music. They work pretty well too! I'm glad of my purchase and makes my laptop much more of a stereo than it used to with the small, speakers inside the laptop which totally sucked. All hail good ol' Wal-Mart!

As for Storm, after coming back from Wal-Mart, I looked up into her burrow and she wasn't there..I slightly turn my head and BAM in my face! She was up the wall right in my face! And I mean the aquarium wall, not my actual wall. Don't worry, she didn't escape. I pretty much wonder why she went up there though. It has me worried since usually, Male tarantula's will try to escape when they are ready to mate and they'll never stop from trying to escape. Thing is, Storm is a female and as of late she seemed rather happy in her burrow in her new home and climbing up the walls could mean she is unhappy, uncomfortable or something. I must admit she's a tropical tarantula and needs high humidity and I've been keeping the cage pretty much dry ever since the mite infestation, so that might just be it. Anyway, guess I'll see through the following days what's up with this. For now, I'll start spraying water again, but use mdoeration this time to avoid an incident like last time.
