Final Decision: Wii or PS3?
by FetusZero on Comments
Yep..my homies girlfriend (or not..hell with whatever is happening between them..very complicated story) had her brother's Wii so they brought it over. We went rent Wii Play and his bro left The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess inside the Wii. So, now I have tried both the Wii and the PS3. The two consoles I want and my choice hasn't changed..I'm all for the PS3 and it will be the first now present-gen console that will make it into my house. Now I won't go all that deep within each..just surface it..cause I really don't feel like adding too much depth,.I still haven't taken my coffee.
The Wii plays well, I like how you feel free with the controller. Yep, I feel free with it..like if I had no limits, all cause of the fact that you don't need to hold a controller with both hands and can move both hands in total different ways and stuff like this you know. I really enjoyed the feeling of the WiiMote along with the joystick. Buttons are placed properly and are easy to press. Wii Play wasn't bad but we could have chosen something better..although I admit not many games other than Zelda really interests me for the Wii. Zelda was one great experience and remains the only game I truely want the Wii for. The Graphics aren't as bad as I could of heard throughout forums, yet they could of been better and wether graphics are important or not, they sure are far from being able to put up against the PS3 and Xbox 360 for these terms. In fact, since I finally did try it, I can say now that it's true..I still don't consider the Wii to be part of the what was next-gen before, more like a GameCube with a motion sensor adapter. So he gameplay feels good, very enjoyable, the graphics could of been much better, the sound was good, the features are lacking in my opinion. I went through the Wii's menu to check around the features other than video games and let's say...the Wii is far to be in my tastes for any other features it has. Let's say since I consider Nintendo to be a group console (I explained about that before for those who remember), meaning for me, a Wii needs 4 controllers ($220 canadian for 3 additional players in other words..selling the joystick apart from the Wiimote is the stupidest thing Nintendo ever done), plus the games that I'd buy...I really but really don't find the Wii worth it's price. Now that's probably why the Wii is cheap in itself..because it comes back to the same **** price of any other console if you add up 3 additional players to have some fun. So for the Price..Wii comes back to the price of the 360..and the PS3 is only 100 bucks more than the 360 and still does more things than the 360..all in all, even if I would do it for the price, I'd get a PS3. But that ain't the only thing that makes me want it.
Upon my little shopping going at Wal-Mart the other day, as I said in a blog before (i think), I tried the unfamous PS3. Unfamous because people like to talk **** about it. The controller is the good old Dual-Shock without rumble and without a wire. The SixAxiS, in my opinion, is great. Sure there is no rumble, but I never really noticed it once throughout my whole playthrough at the demo stand. All in all, the rumble lost isn't really a big loss to say the least. Some people complained bout the L2 and R2 buttons but I found em to be WAY better than on the Dual-Shock controller. Much more smoother, much more comfortable. The graphics are totally amazing..Ya'll who never seen an actual PS3 on a real screen and all you've seen are the videos from GameSpot, you haven't seen nothing..I thought the PS3 looked good, not bad on them videos. When I saw it for myself on an actual TV screen..My jaw literally droped. Its like if the people in there were alive simply put. Anyway, all goes smooth and perfectly, the sound is good, have yet to try it with my surround system (i wonder if anywhere near my place rents PS3's). Lol you should of seen me when I was going through the menu of the console..I was like weeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!! I was going to change alot of parameters to experience them but knowing this was a demo stand for a store..I thought they'd be pissed if I would of changed any of the options. I tried every single feature of the PS3 and let me tell you..this is wonderful. I totally fell in love with the PS3, same way that I fell in love with the PS2 back when it came out.
Anyway I haven't told much about all of it..but one thing is for sure is that now that I have tried both consoles I can easily say the Wii doesn't have **** compared to the PS3. It sure owns the Xbox 360 though. Well..maybe not from a technical view but from an ejoyable view, the Wii owns the 360 and the PS3 owns them all. Of course though, that goes differently for everyone, since nobody is alike. So tell yourself you just stepped through my final decision as for which of the two will be the first inside my house. The funny thing is..The demo stand for the PS3 has totally sucky games that I'd never buy, for the Wii, at least was able to try the only game that interested me so far..while I couldn't for the PS3, and yet, I still found the PS3 to be the most enjoyable experience of gaming.
With that, it's time I go get a **** coffee I've wasted enough time on the computer without my god damn **** coffee.
I think movies affected my dreams
by FetusZero on Comments
It happened yesterday..Anyway I was over at my girlfriend, and we watched Grandma's Boy..made me wanna roll a fatty and play video games. Then, we watched The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning. Kinda **** up mix of genres one after the other. So with all that done, I go to bed where I learned this morning that she hit me several times with her elbow while sleeping..and my dream went in 3 different "stages" if you want..first, I was at war, I was a soldier, a courageous soldier to say cause I knocked out somde dudes with my partner (whoever he was) and we stole their clothes and make our way into the enemy..but we could see items poping out of the ground Metal Gear Solid Style lol. Anyway all in all the enemy werent stupid and they started shooting us. Then BANG. I'm somewhere else, and some dudes are chasing me tryna kill me. I don't know how many nor even who or what they were..but anyway, I tried to flee, couldn't go very far before it happened again..BANG! I was now at a party with my girlfriend's family, and them guys told me to roll a joint. So I rolled one..it was quite something. You need them packs of 200 sheets for writting? thats how my joint was. Yep, it was a rectangle..kinda weird..and even in the dream I wondered..why did it turn out that way..how the **** will I make a roach for that. And then BAM! I awake. was pretty weird. I think the movies affected it in some way. Without forgetting that I was also pretty tired when we started watching Texas Chainsaw.
Valentines day? Yeah right...
by FetusZero on Comments
So as some already know, I am highly against Valentines day. I`ll explain a bit why (which is very obvious reasons) and some more I guess.
First, I dislike Valentines day and do not celebrate it for it is no love they bring other than companies love for the money we give them. What the **** did Valentine dude did back then? Oh Valentine decided we should have a day to spread our love to our friends, soulmates, and any living thing and it turned out to be the day of love or something? I do not know the exact actions he did, nor what he brought upon us, but I sure know he brought alot of money loving time upon Wal-Mart and any other companies. I believe love is not to be shared on a day..but throughout the entire time we live. Why don`t they sell stuffed dogs with big hearts written "I Love You" on them when it isn`t Valentines day? Why don`t they sell heart shaped chocolate boxes? Because Valentines day has become THE loving day. Sure, I did buy that stuffed dog in pink and white with a bone in his mouth which says "I love you" to my girlfriend..but I gave her it 2 weeks ago and I would of bought it way before if stores would sell such things OUT of Valentines day period. But they don`t, clearely showing their money love in that period, clearly telling me Valentines day is in fact a commercially money loving giving time.
That being said, I will not wish any of you, fellow GameSpoters, a happy Valentines day. But instead, I wish all of you a happy life time, no matter how long you will live, I wish ya`ll love 24/7 and alot of apreciation from people around you. LOve is something we have to spread and giver everyday, every morning, every night, all the time. Life is too short to stumble across a broken heart, many more will be there to rebuild it. Love is important, might it not even be important, but love makes us feel good and worth living which is why it is important to spread it 24/7. OF course, everybody has hatred, but it will always be countered by love at some point. So I apreciate everyone here, every GameSpotters I know and do not know, and each one that has supported me through my hard times the same I tried to support them the best I could through theirs. May all have you be happy and live the best they can, not the way someone or "something" (like religions) tells them to..but live the way you want life to be..that`s all I`ve got to tell ya`ll, and thank you.

PS2 VoIDED!
by FetusZero on Comments
Yep..I opened up my PS2 to clean the lens. Let me explain how I came to do this.
I bought God of War this morning and well guess what? My PS2 straight wouldn't read the disc..so I thought it might of been a bad disc ya know like 1 happens in a million. So to check out the disc, I inserted it in my laptop, see if there actually was anything burned on the disc to find out the disc seemed in perfect condition..which led me to think my lens was ready for some cleaning..so looking through my disc tray, I realised there was no way I could reach the lens if I can't even see it, plus, not seeing it and going in there blindly with a cotton swab would be quite dangerous to either break some wires or force on the lens and break the lens itself. All this led me to open up my PS2 and have a quicky operation (which took me forever) and clean my lens. This also means putting my warranty to death (not like it wasn't already dead anyway), and anyway what did I risk? Yes, **** up the entire PS2 itself..specially knowing myself. Yet, I truely did want to play God of War so I went and did it anyway. The hardest part was to take the top cover off of the PS2 without breaking that silver wire that connects the eject and power buttons..without these, you're basicaly doomed. But I managed to do it right and now it does read my disc..woo! I shall check one day if it starts reading back DVD's as well. Anyway, what a mess this was..alot but ALOT of dust was inside..so all in all, this didn't hurt my PS2. Hurray!
By the way, that's stupid:

What's up with games being short lately?
by FetusZero on Comments
Already done with Shadow of the Colossus. Lasted me 3 days..of course I still have the Time Attack mode, Hard mode and Hard Time Attack mode to fulfill, but that is for replay value. Other than that, the main game is short. Sometimes you fight against a Colossus and think to yourself "woah, some of them must take pretty long to figure out how to defeat" but yeah..not that much. At least the ending was surprising..sort of. One good thing adding to the replay value though is the fact that defeating the Colossus, even if you know how to defeat them and you're pretty quick on doing so, it remains fun as hell to climb up these huge beasts. I'll most likely find myself going back to them just for fun of climbing back up them mother **** and stabbing em to death. That being said and done, I'll give a try to the Time Attack mode to unlock some weapons and stuff which are probably far from being needed in the game or even interesting since you don't really need them, but just for the fun of saying I got them. Maybe I'll write a review..dunno lately I've been having fun writing reviews of all sorts. BAM! You're dead big ass final Colossus! Damn was he ever huge man, but without much difficulties to defeat him, he was still a challenge..basicaly getting to him is the challenge after that it becomes quite easy lol. OK so I need to do Hard Mode for a bit more challenge in this game.
2 Other Games added..All hail Greatest Hits and Player's Choice!

Tomorrow is Doom's Day..and **** **** **** ****

DENTIST!! Yep..tomorrow is my dentist appointement. There ain't nothing much to say bout it..good thing is I called off all day at work lol. Yep, my appointement is at 9:30am, I work from 3pm to 11pm and I **** called off for the entire day. How sweet is that? Anyway I'm most likely getting the tooth in question extracted, and you wouldn'/t want to see me when I get a tooth extracted. I'm in a bad mood, I don't feel good, I just want to kill. like..**** KILL!!!!
Anyway on another subject, I spoke with Reilly over AOL Instant Messenger and we discussed about warnings and forum posts being deleted. Apparently, the reason alot of my forum posts would be deleted by moderators would be cause I say too much **** and **** in my posts. Now that's a funny thing. And I'll do as I told him (anyway I think I told him) and I'll just post the song **** the World by Insane Clown Posse as a blog post. But not now though..just wait..and BAM in your face over 90 ****s in one blog post. I've got a purpose in life..it;s to say **** as much as I **** can. What you want, I might be french, usually in schools and all we learn the "good" english language, but the fact that where I learn the most of my english is speaking with english people, I did learn the "bad" english if you want. So **** and **** are part of my main vocalubary in english. Do they censor suck? I don't know..don't remember..I think they don't. anyway..****!
