I like PC's a little more simply because the PC gives me more choices as a consumer.  I can make a PC to do exactly what I want it to do at the level of quality I expect.

I feel like I get more game for my dollar on the PC -- user-made mods, custom patches, downloadable content, and multiplayer really stretch a game for all of its value.  I've also noticed that PC games typically lack mass advertisement, marketing, and are usually geared toward a slighter older demographic who demand a little more depth in terms of gameplay and concept.

I like consoles alot, but think consoles could incorporate a lot of the PC's strengths.

The problems with PC's is that they are not user friendly and more expensive than consoles.

while I am waitin to get my 360 back from repair I have to go back to my PC and it sucks...I can't stand usin the m/k it drives me nuts....I have to spend all this time loadin the stupid discs before I can play....you always have to mess with the settings and turn textures up but the game will suffer...blah blah blah......man console gamin is where it's at...sorry hermitschikenfriedrice

...and I can't stand forcing my broad shoulders together to hold a 5" by 5" peice of plastic that feels like it was made for the hands of women and children, either.

...but I don't hold that against the gaming machine itself, =P. 

Oh god!  You can customize and control settings to your preferences!  Run!  Consoles!!!  Think for me!  Play for me!

I like consoles, but c'mon, don't hold stuff like this against the PC -- some of the stuff you mentioned are actually it's strengths.

Why should a company support a console that is over three years obsolete and has explicitly limited the functionality of gaming? 

I guess our "super posting levels" aren't high enough.

Any board that restricts and limits posting rights based on something as artifical and rude as "posting levels" makes me sick to my stomach. 

You communicate ideas on forums, and the quality of these ideas can't be measured quantatatively.  The quality of your ideas has no direct relationship with how long, how much, or how hard you post on an online forum. 

Xbox?  Probably.

PS1?  C'mon now.  I am disgusted by the cheap hardware in Wii as much as the next unbiased consumer, but it's way more powerful than PS1.
