DIB Day 2: Them Zombies

Well, things are getting interesting around the Dead Island, er, island. As I progressed around the island, I realized that many people need my help and, like the hero I am, have to go around, killing more zombies, almost dying myself and then getting a reward, only to have to start something else again. Not as bad as you think from a game everyone has mixed feelings on. I think (as of this point in the game) is a very well game that will gain a following in a few months.

Anyways, I continue to look around for better weapons and lord and behold, I get to use my gun after all. I shot at a zombie, point blank in the head.

He was still alive :|

My current level is 11 and have 5 Achievements (still getting them) and here's hoping that Day 3 will bring the best (I hope)

Dead Island Blog: Day 1

Hello chicos and welcome to a new little mini series I dub the Dead Island Blogs. Here, I will post my progress on Dead Island, including some weapons I find, the people I talk to (not too much for those who still need to play the game) and more killings then a box full of nails with the tips. So, let's start with:

Day 1 and a Half

Reason why I said Day 1 and a Half is because of school. Since I have class late tonight (Wednesday) that gives me less time to play the game.

But I begin my quest just yesterday as I popped the game into the ol 360. I knew I was in for a ride but I didn't know what to expect. For once, I was a bit scared to see what would happen on this island. Within the first 20 minutes, I'm out quest hunting, leveling as I go. Just an hour later and I already have a few weapons at my power, the nail bat and a crowbar that can take down zombies with ease. But then, after a quest, I got a weapon that can strike down zombies.

Problem is that I'm not a level 10 yet :|

So, I must now walk/drive to more quests in hopes that I will find more people and stay alive as long as I can.

Achievement Progress: 3

And so begin's Metal's journey into the island of the dead and this is where I must leave, for now.

End of Day 1 (and a half)

So Lonely (Calm Down People)

Hello chicos, how's your gaming lately. It's that time of the year where most of us big kids pack up our backpacks and go back to school. But I have a good feeling that even with school starting up again that this holiday season, we gamers will be playing around the Christmas tree like a boss 8)

So I got Rayman 3D the other day for my 3DS and it brings back a lot of stuff for me (being a Rayman fan). And I beat OoT, now I have to grow a pair to play Master Quest, we'll see how that goes really

I am planning on buying me a case for it just in case I go traveling or something like that.

Cookie to whoever guesses the band that plays the song So Lonely

Also I picked up a card game called Dominion on Amazon and should arrive around Wednesday I hope since when it comes to me and packages, they take a long time and they knock on my door at around 8 when I'm still in bed so that doesn't even make sense at all anyways

So I Got Something Blue

That's right everyone, I have a blue berry

I kid on that but I have a Nintendo 3DS now chicos 8) It's really cool and I haven't even started really playing it. I was impressed with it and I hope good things happen with my little system.

The only game I got for it is Ocarina of Time 3D since I am a fan of the game and I have beaten it on the N64 (Only once mind you).

Most likely I will post later about anything else great I get with the 3DS :)

Oh and if you want my FC, just let me know via PM please, I can not stress that enough :P

Almost A Month? Wow

Sorry for not posting a blog in a long time peeps and chicos, I've been busy with unions that I forgot that people still read out of all my friends

Anyways, I got Duke Nukem Forever and it's really true, no matter how big of a fan I am of Duke, this games can go to heck 6 ways to Sunday. And I'm still playing it because I want to beat it and be happy that everyone can stop with the Forever Never jokes. Now we can all rest easy and be happy that the game is finally out and we can now play other games that we actually care for

My Thoughts on E3 So Far

It's that time of the year ladies and gentlemen. E3 is here, bringing us the best in games from now until the following year. This year, it's a bit harder for me to pick the winner of the big three conferences and here is why:

Microsoft brought the big guns early when we had more info on titles like Gears of War 3, Fable: The Journey and the big Halo 4, plus with Modern Warfare 3, seems that Microsoft was ready this year with their big titles. Not to mention all the nice add ons for the 360, like Youtube and the Kinect features, you wonder how they took the head start in the race.

Switching over to Sony, they knew that they were going in after what happened with the PSN. They kicked out the heavy games as well and introduced us to their new portable system that had many gamers look in amazement. Sony got their games ready for the world to see and amazed me at some points.

Nintendo came out to know that we are celebrating 25 years with The Legend of Zelda series. With more games coming out, Nintendo wanted the world to see that Mario Kart, Super Mario 3D, Luigi's Mansion 2, Star Fox 3D, the list can go on. But then they brought out the new toy of E3: The Wii U. Looks like a new system in the works and I was confused at first. Then, the titles that might be on this new system: Assassin's Creed, Batman Arkham City and many other games, I even saw the man behind Bioshock talking about it. The kick for me? Off besides the Kid Icarus game, Sakurai said that the Super Smash Bros. series will be making a return to both the 3DS and the Wii U.

My opinion on who won? Sony has the edge in this case because they knew that they were going in with more coverage thanks to the outage. However, Nintendo gets my vote and stole the show (Come on, I never heard a reaction to Smash Bros. like that in a while). Got to give it to Nintendo for changing the gaming tables yet again

Monday: It Begins Again

Well chicos, this Monday marks E3 2011, the week where every gamer spends more time on the tv and internet then on their systems themselves. Where we get a taste at the future of gaming right there and see what is next for the next few years in gaming.

Most likely and again, I will post my dad to day results, picks and games of E3 and what I think was best in show so stay tuned for most of that good stuff 8)

So Now That I'm 20

By the time you read this chicos, I will be 20 years old. Yes, that's right, Fullmetalwwant was born 20 years ago to a wonderful family and my late brother Aj. I am very happy that it was in 2007 that I decided to join Gamespot and have made many great friends, which I could name down the list if I wanted to, maybe in the next blog because it is getting late around these parts.

I hope everyone has a good day cause wind and rain is what I'm getting right now :P

Stay cool this summer chicos 8)

Remember When Games Were Games? (PSN Take 235)

Hey chicos, this must be the million dollar question that everyone gets asked:

Do you remember when games were games? Cause I remember when games were games. I remember back in my day, I had to remember and catch 151 Pokemon. Now I have to catch a billion of them and there's even more to catch now.

Back in my day, Super Mario World was the best. Now WoW is here and everyone wants to sit around the monitor and realize that some things don't change.

Back in my day, an N64 in your house means something. Now I have a Wii, a dead PS3 (many do) and a 360.

I end it here
