I completely agree with you that the things most important in life are not money orientated. But theres no point being noble about it all. If someone offered you £10,000 most people would take it...because it makes you happier. I don't see why people get ashamed of admitting it.tifaz

If you did indeed meet poor people in Africa suffereing from starvation on your travels they may well be happy...but im pretty sure giving them money so they don't have to walk 4 hours a day to the nearest water source or have a meal other than grain would make them a little happier. tifaz

Nice responses.I'd like to add you can never save a people by handing them a fish.You must save them by teaching them to fish.While providing voluntary handouts to these people is a noble pursuit it will never solve the problem.

Does money bring happy to youCitrus25

Because I have money I get to choose who I associate with. Thus on a personal level I get to decide who has the privilege and the honor to associate with me and vise versa.

Also I get to be very choosy on any jobs I would want to take.Many people have to take crappy jobs where they have to spend time doing tasks and associating with people that make their lives miserable.Life isn't fair and this is because people aren't fair. It is reflected quite often in the workplace and can be stressful for those that don't get what they feel they deserve in life.

Ps: I have total autonomy to do what I want with whom I want. I only wish everyone had some of the opportunities I had. Unfortunately when you look around the majority of people are very upset with how the world works.People with money can get above this to some extent.

yes, i guess some ppl only limit their brains to OT. shyskillz

Oh no, thats me!:o

yes, i guess some ppl only limit their brains to OT.
world is full of mysteries..many uncovered & many other not yet touched..why do we call mathematician & inventors crazy..cause they surpass the limitations of knowledge & go on unveiling astonishing facts & methods...sometimes works ,other times not....its depends whats on one's mind...

the only limits your mind has are the ones you yourself put on it...either through conditioning or ignorance (that not you personally, rather all people).a bit like is the glass half full or half empty. It all depends on how you view things and the attitude you take on-board. No. Limits are self-imposed. An individual with a closed mind has limits. An individual with an open mind does not.(idealistically speaking) Logic and the imagination are most likely endless.shyskillz

First, limits which are self-imposed are immensely minor in nature when compared to the limits imposed on a person by others. The difference is one creates a singular idiot, the other creates a world of idiots.

Second, wtf did you just call me crazy?

Third, imagination is endless, but logic is limited by the laws of nature.

I can hardly sleep at night, at all. I go to bed (I'm 13) and I just can't sleep. I'll lie for about an hour, then I'll get up and I'll just walk around my room doing nothing for a couple of hours. My skin really annoys me at night (I have eczema) and it just makes it impossible to lie down and relax. :cry:

Help!

KOTORkicker

It sounds like you're confident that your sleeping problems are stemming from the eczema. Assuming this, you should try to find out what you might be allergic to. Keep in mind something in your diet or in your surroundings (ie: blankets, something in the air) could be causing your eczema on your skin. Go to the doctor(s) and try to figure out what is going on, but keep in mind sometimes they aren't too bright and you may have to figure out the cause on your own.

Also keep in mind that exercising and eating healthier never hurts and often can help your metabolism deal with such problems. Also getting to bed/waking up consistently can help force you to sleep a "little" easier.

[QUOTE="vlin1108"]

[QUOTE="Genetic_Code"] No. Sex is.Genetic_Code

Why, honey?

Sex is structured for reproduction, not for a replacement of love.

Sex (between adults) is good because it:

1) provides for repoduction of the species and

2) provides people with emotional stimulation. Basically "immediate" gratification/happiness.

I assume you take issue with the second point of immediate verses long term happiness. If so, the two engaged in the act would ultimately decide any longer lasting happiness past that. But that is a "social" issue and not a "biological" issue. So how can sex be bad? Only the pairing of the two engaged in the act can be bad. Would you agree?

This is the New America. Is he or she any worse for getting to the top based on who he or she "knows"? I don't care if you don't sleep with him or her, it's just as bad. Anyway you can work your way up the top and destroy your companies seems to be alright with America. I guess maybe I should cave-in and say it's alright with me.

...I don't think so. I will accept reality, but that doesn't mean it's the way it should be. And it's not right.

A fraternity house cheated on one of my professors exams and the teacher gave a speech saying how he was going to fail them all and try to get them all expelled. I think he even vowed to disband the frat house. Boy you don't mess with one of my teachers.

In the end I'm not sure what was dumber: a) trying to cheat in a class they were probably destined to fail anyway or b) the bomb threat that was called in to the classroom the next day.

I'll watch some of it, like when he's actually sworn in. I think i'll skip the rest though.Bloodbath_87
Isn't this the part where he swears to uphold the constitution and then days later will start trampling it like everybody else?

[QUOTE="GhostOfKosh1"][QUOTE="I_pWnzz_YoU"] Go into AA, kill everyone and drink their blood. You're bound to get some kind of a buzz.I_pWnzz_YoU
That sounds rather sick. Besides what would their alcohol content have to be to get a buzz from that?

What's more sick, a man without his beer or murdering alcoholics and drinking their blood for a similar affect?...You don't have to answer that

**** he got me with a trick question. I think it's the man without his beer.
