Who would I have to kill for the alcohol?

Go into AA, kill everyone and drink their blood. You're bound to get some kind of a buzz.

That sounds rather sick. Besides what would their alcohol content have to be to get a buzz from that?

I watch three channels on TV; cnbc, fox business news, and Bloomberg. I figure my only hope for not watching it is Bloomberg.

For those of you who are in college or were in college in the past, what kind of relationship did you have with your room mates? Were they like friends to you, like, did you hang out, or did you never really interact much unless it was about something related to the house, dorm, or school? I kind of fall into the latter group, I think. My room mates interact with each other a lot, but I've always been kind of an outcast amongst them, so I usually just do my best to stay out of their way. Maybe it's because I've only been living here for a few months, but has anyone else ever felt like they were kind of disconnected from their roommates?Timstuff

My first roommate sucked. I remember walking in once when his gf was sitting on my refrigerator gearing up to be nailed. My friend and I both walked in and we were both like "wtf". Do it anywhere but on the refrigerator please.

My second roommate was a lot cooler. We did a lot together: grocery shopping, out to eat, clubbing, ect.

Crappy deals. Got pirates of the carribean on blu ray cuz all blu rays are 20% off. paid 26 dollars for it and on amazon.com its only 20$. They took forever to ring ppl up so i was in line for 30 min. What a waste. It seems that they marked the prices up, and then had the sale so ppl feel like their saving money. Unless your buying something thats over 100 dollars dont bother.

Dont waste your time

Best Buy and Circuit City suck compared to Amazon.com, imo.

The economy is never stronger when an inefficient act is taken. And what you are asking is does creating an inefficient act help to later create what you are arguing is an efficient act. First, the ends never justify the means (both morally and economically). Second, no the investment of the second person whom is quite often an idiot is much more likely to now do a second inefficient act. Two wrongs don't make a right. It just makes for more stupidity. In no way does that help me.

ps: am I really telling you anything you don't already know?lilburtonboy748

Economics simply deals with the allocation of resources, so morality is irrelevant. To study economics is not to debate whether the ends justify the means, but rather study the ends in themselves. Whether the best economic system is moral or not is philosophical.

I probably agree with you on everything already, I was just playing the devil's advocate.

I know that you knew, but what's funnier is that I also knew you were going to make this response before you wrote it.

The connection between morality and economics does not matter, but that does not take away from the fact that morality often hitches along for the ride.I have yet to see immoral acts which efficiently benefit the economics of any society. We reap what we sow as a society and we get nothing more than we deserve as a society, economics dictates this. Good luck with your quest to prove me wrong. ;)
