It's Official, My Life Is Boring

Currently Reading: Angry Angel (FF.net)  - "Whispered Screams"

IRL

Yet another boring as heck day. I really need to go on a walk or a shopping spree or something. But I still have two more midday shifts coming up. I really need to go somewhere this Saturday. Atleast I managed to remake another disc cover today, even if it's freakishly elongated and a lot redder than the original.

Grandia II

I've gone through Garmia Tower. I'm about to head off to the Inor Mountains. Fortunately, a garoyle dropped a "Purity Sword" which has a +40 attack which is much stronger than the +26 attack Shamshir. Some good luck to this day.

Not much. Had a weird chore to do at work today. I also started to "remake" some of my old disc covers since they were lost during the "burnout". That way, I can still keep them archived. ^^

Rogue Rossignol ( L68 )

I killed a witch for my minor quest today and I leveled after discovering that the woods mantis are worth 210k exp. About 4x more than my current hunting ground. It'll be a bit more costly though cause I'll have to heal a lot more which means more pipes. I also attended GeoJumbles. As usual, I lost. BUT I did manage to get 1 POINT! Woot! That's a rarity. Speaking of woot, I managed to stop by the Muse Cabaret and enjoy their last song which was a lovely duet between Muse Lonneke and Muse Noir.

Skies of Arcadia Legends

Ra, this was so annoying. I played through the exact same scenes about 3 times, because I kept screwing up. Anyways, I've collected 3 chams and 4 moonfish in total. I made all the discoveries so far (from the DC version) that I could and made one that was new (Star Sand). I am nowhere near stupid enough to take on the Angel of Death this early in the game. Moons no! It is a sidequest I have never completed though. This will be most amusing to see with my own eyes. Next is to stop at Maramba and meet lovely Lady Bellena.

Routine Routine Routine

Not much. I woke. I ate. I worked. I've been debating on whether or not I should buy Path of Radiance next time I hit the mall or if this is a game I can wait a few months for the price to go down. Either way, Soul Calibur III is indisputable, so if I can hold out 'til the 25th...

Rogue Rossignol (L67)

Finally killed a witch shaman. I can check up on a new quest tomorrow. I tried to hunt mythic bosses for white ambers and rabbit sentries for fine rabbit meats, so I can be blessed by and the stars and get the "trap" spells. No luck so far.

Mage Naichingeru (L15)

Got around to finishing the newbie quests. Hunted some green squirrels for their acorns and valuable exp. Also freed the leviathan. There's a whole lot of spells I need to get for this chick. However, this one is mainly an alt who can hold extra items since I'm a packrat that keeps a little of everything and am officially out of room on Ross. Ross will have to hit 99, before I'll "seriously" work on Naichi.

I have been so tired the past few nights, so I haven't been updating. Beat now, too. So, I'll keep this short. I watched "The Fog" last night. I give it a C-. Could have been better. Needed more blood and one of the main cast that should have died didn't. Total disappointment. Absolutely loved the CG fog. Creepy as heck. Watched "Hitch" for the first time today. I give it a A+. Excellent emotion. Excellent drama. Well-timed comedy relief. Will Smith is hot as ever. The Spanish lead gal is hot, too. I also went for a night walk yesterday. Pop chewed my ear out since I was walking in shorts and a tank top. I've also managed to fix up my game collection when I realized I was missing about 10 games from the list and expand my wish list. I also noticed that info on Xenosaga 3 is out, too. Telos looks awesome. Best looking graphics yet.

Escorted Nasr merchant. Visited Valua. Freed the pirates and rescued Fina. Went back to Pirate Isle. Next up is Nasr, after a few stops.

Been busy. I've slaughtered about 300 squirrels and recieved 4 gold acorns. I attended Mudang Sori and heard some interesting stories by the campfire. I witnessed a shamanic ritual which had complications and ended up with the Shaman Ahante losing her life and soul. I'll try to keep my eyes open if the shamans reveal anything else pertaining to this event. I participated in 3 druid events: Musical Horse (placed 2nd in 2nd round), Trivia (placed 1st), Scramble (placed 3rd). I participated in Nature's Bounty and won a lucky coin. I also tried another trivia hosted by the geomancers. Didn't even get 1 point. Ouch. I leveled twice in Haunted House waiting for the Witch Shaman to spawn (which she hasn't). I have learned the secret "Light Touch" from Master Maro. I dyed my hair orange, my clothes black, and had a facial. I mined quite a bit and forged many steel daggers. Oh, I also witnessed "The Barbarian Raid". It looks interesting. I think I'll participate next time.

I have made CCD-014 featuring the greatest variety of vocals I've had in a long time. Currently listening to track 19 of it. Lookie above ^. I think I'll codename this CCD as "The Light's Cold Warmth" since there's so many songs featuring aspects of loneliness or being alone on this one. I've managed to clean up a bit of my room. I think it'll stave my mom off for a while at least. ^^

Well, I've finished the Half-blood Prince and all I can say is: Thank God No One Took Me Up On My Bet! Sheesh, there really are more "mudbloods" than "purebloods" in the wizarding community. So, I've spoiled who the Half-blood Prince is not, but that doesn't mean I've told you who (s)he is ^^. I also found my conclusions on the "rumored death", but once again, hushie hush! I personally didn't find this book to be very entertaining. I'm a sucker for angst, like all the heck Harry went through in Goblet of Fire and Order of the Phoenix. This one was more "sit-com drama" although Draco has peaked higher in my interests than they ever have been now. Now, what else has happened today? Hmmm...Nope, just the routine work and play I believe.

Skies of Arcadia Legends

Went through Shrine Island and acquired the Moonstone. Would've been more, but I accidentally paused in the middle of a fmv and I'm way too tired to do it all over again.

 Bloody Roar 4

I actually did this yesterday, but I totally forgot >-<. I went through career mode with Nagi and unlocked Kohryu. I've only got Uranus and Ryoho the Blue Dragon to unlock now. Btw, the voice acting in this game is -censored- -censored- of a -censored- -censored- -censored- -censored-. It's just THAT bad.

SQEEEE!! SOUL CALIBUR 3 COMES OUT IN 2 WEEKS!!

One more thing to vent before I disappear. My USB mouse broke and this touchpad bites. It keeps claiming I clicked on something when I haven't gone anywhere near the dang buttons!

Not much has been going on since I last posted. I saw the new "Wallace and Gromitt" movie a few days ago. I give it a C+. I preferred the Christmas Caper special since I've never seen Madagascar, so I had only a 10% idea of how the penguins act. All I could think was OMG! That one penguin that regurgitated a stick of dynamite...right...I've also signed up for an account on DeviantArt. If you're interested in seeing my gallery, go to ghostlymaiden.deviantart.com. I warn you though, my drawings suck for someone at my age. I draw like a 12 year old. I've also bought "Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince". I've finished about 500 pages out of 652 so far. 5:1 bet, the half-blood prince is Tom Riddle. Harry Potter is SO dense. Then again, I'll be eating these words if I'm wrong. Hehe. I still haven't gotten to the "rumored death" that is supposed to be featured in this volume. The only Harry Potter books I need to read now are Sorcerer's Stone and Chamber of Secrets, even if both have been spoiled for me. Btw, do the forums work for anyone? I only see empty pages. Took a long time for this journal to return to. Speaking of which, I don't really favor this new look, but I think I'll adapt.

Skies of Arcadia Legends

Well, I've started a new file yet again. I've played through this game like 5 times from start to finish now. This game was like the third RPG I ever had, with Super Mario RPG and Grandia II being my first two (if you don't count unorthodox RPGs like Harvest Moon that is). I was only starting to get into RPGing back then. Especially since my brother hates RPGs enough, so I can be better than him at something in the gaming category ^^. Anyways, Fina has been rescued. We're at Pirate Isle, just about to embark upon Shrine Island. It has already taken up half a dvd. I expect this to be another long collection.

Unfortunately I forgot that for Animal Crossing, today is s'posed to be Explorer's Day. I've missed out on a holiday model. D'oh.

One More Thing...

I came across this D & D quiz a short while back and I don't have anywhere else to really post it so...

You Are A:

Neutral Good Half-Elf Ranger Druid

Follower Of Mielikki

Alignment:
Neutral Good characters believe in the power of good above all else. They will work to make the world a better place, and will do whatever is necessary to bring that about, whether it goes for or against whatever is considered 'normal'.

Race:
Half-Elves are a cross between a human and an elf. They are smaller, like their elven ancestors, but have a much shorter lifespan. They are sometimes looked down upon as half-breeds, but this is rare. They have both the curious drive of humans and the patience of elves.

Primary Class:
Rangers are the defenders of nature and the elements. They are in tune with the Earth, and work to keep it safe and healthy.

Secondary Class:
Druids are a special variety of Cleric who serves the Earth, and can call upon the power in the earth to accomplish their goals. They tend to be somewhat fanatical about defending natural settings.

Deity:
Mielikki is the Neutral Good goddess of the forest and autumn. She is also known as the Lady of the Forest, and is the Patron of Rangers. Her followers are devoted to nature, and believe in the positive and outreaching elements of it. They use light armor, and a variety of weapons suitable for hunting, which they are quite skilled at. Mielikki's symbol is a unicorn head.

19 Wishes For 19 Candles

Currently Watching: Adult Swim - "Full Metal Alchemist"

IRL

To start things off, as of 10:43 a.m., September 24, I am officially 19 years old. Farewell my fleeting adolescence. Hello responsibility, maturity, and making a living. Those last three have been hanging around for the last few years anyway. Freeloaders. I should get rent. My birthday presents consisted of $100 and a birthday bonus on my next paycheck. Not much, ne? I am so beat. What an exhausting last two days. My internet went kaput around 2:30 p.m. yesterday. I didn't figure out how to get it back online til 6:30 this morning. Work was heck today. Nice and slow the first three hours. Busy, busy, busy the last two. A 19 year old working only 5 hours? Yep, I haven't got a full-time job yet. I'll look into it later. ~Yawn~ Well, I just watched "Corpse Bride". I would like to dub it an "unorthodox fairytale". It's pretty short, with a simple storyline. Not too humorous, although there were some people who couldn't stop laughing behind us, so I guess it's funny to some. The music wasn't bad and probably would've been more enjoyable if I wasn't so beat. Whoa, cool. No pun intended there. Hehe. My lovey-dovey romance, chick-flick side totally dug the romantic schticks. Speaking of which, not much on action sequences. There is one thing I absolutely LOVE about this movie: the way it was designed. I find Emily (the Corpse Bride) to be the loveliest woman in the movie. Victoria (the Living Bride) paled in comparison. Call me sick. Call me perverse. That's what I think. ^^ I would love to use her in my sig or as an avatar. Plus, she had the "Ghostly Maiden" effect down. -_^ The environment and character design, especially on the undead, were absolutely beautiful. I can't wait to rip apart the DVD.

Animal Crossing

Maria of Twilight Town and Dawn Island

Well, the 23rd was the Sports Fair and I was able to attend all of them for once. ^^ In aerobics Chuck the moose, Kitty the cat, Roald the penguin, and Anchovy the songbird were warming up. For the foot race, Aurora the penguin held shotgun and the competitions were Pierce the raptor Vs. Kitty the cat, and Anchovy the songbird Vs. Mint the squirrel. In ball toss, Pierce the raptor played cheerleader, er...judge, with Aurora the penguin and Lulu the hippo Vs. Roald the penguin and Kitty the cat. Finally, Cyrano the anteater and Roald the penguin Vs. Baabara the sheep and Aurora the penguin, with Chuck playing flag-moose. Considering these stats, I award the Most Enthusiastic Athletes Trophy to Roald the penguin and Kitty the cat, which just happens to be the first male and female animals I met in Twilight.

Today was my birthday, so Lulu dropped by and gave me Donkey Kong. ^^

Neopets

GhostlyMaiden and her pets IllusionaryShadow, UndyingHope, Niomyony, and Glena4.

Normally, I don't count this since it's pretty routine. However, neopets is having a "plot" right now and I'm actually up to speed for once. Our current situation is to dig up the sand covering the scroll repository, so we can find a way to restore Sakhmet (I wonder if Qasala is going to be a new world). All my pets are slow, so I can only dig once every three hours which is another reason why I was a little ticked about the internet going offline yesterday. Apparently, someone had been able to dig up a Lost Desert Paint Brush, which is worth over 1 MILLION NEOPOINTS on the market. If I manage to dig one up, I'm gonna use it on Shadow. If by some miracle I can dig up a second one as well I'll use it on Hope. If there's anymore after that, then I'll set it up for trade. ^^ Three words I have to repeat to myself: In My Dreams. ~Sigh~ At least they're beautiful dreams. ^^

Wow, I've been typing this up for the last 1.5 hours, and now it's past midnight. Oh my head. Night y'all.

Eleven's Pretty Popular With September, Ne?

Currently Watching: Last Night's Adult Swim - "Fullmetal Alchemist"

IRL

So, it's been eleven days since my last update. The only gaming I've done since then was about five minutes in Twilight Town to check out the Harvest Moon. However, I did have a LOT of gaming progresses before that as you'll soon read. First things first though. Adobe Premiere Pro 7.0 just came in from Ebay. I don't see much difference between it and the 1.5 free trial version I downloaded a few days ago. My first project is code-named "Blue-Eyed Angel", featuring Xenosaga Episode I clips set to Evanescence's "Haunted". I've bought DIVX Pro, so I won't have to wait 24 hours to convert VOB files to AVI. One thing I have to say, I asolutely LOVE my dvd recorder. I can tape adult swim, so I don't have to stay up all night and if I start around midnight, I can get Case Closed as well. I'm also recording the holidays in Animal Crossing. Too bad I didn't think of that from the start. Oh well. I've also discovered the wonderous "auto chapter" so I can set it up for 30 minute chapters and easily skip to my favorite shows first. There's also the "repeat chapter" so Fullmetal Alchemist has been playing over and over for the last 3 hours, hehe. Another thing I absolutely LOVE is this laptop. I need to pay off all $1000 before January if I want to avoid interest, but it's worth it. DVD burner, automatically installed with windvd creator, and I've already used up more gigs than what I could hold maximum (which was 40 GB) on my old one. This screen is a little iffy, but I'm used to it. The compact design makes it much easier to carry. I've also changed my avatar to a semi-custom "GhostlyMaiden" featuring Lume from the anime Better Man, and I've joined the Guns, Buns, and Fun In the Sun Union. My third union at last. I think I'll have more fun reading in this union rather than posting though. ^^ Now for all the games I've played during "the burn-out".

Final Fantasy VIII - I've recorded about 6 dvds (1 hr. each), and I'm only at D-District Prison on Disc 2. This is starting from a new game naturalement.

Tales of Symphonia - I've recorded about 5 or 6 dvds and I'm up to the point where Colette goes to the Tower of Salvation to "become an angel". Remiel...grrrr... I've also managed to start a file with my little brother. He only participates in the fights and could care less about the story and dungeon puzzles. Go fig. (However, having manual partners make the battle go far faster than a team of autos.)

Shadow Hearts: Covenant - 1 dvd. I'm only in Le Havre and we're still working for the mayor. Grand Papillion....ROFLMAO...woo, had to get that out.

Legend of Zelda: Windwaker - 1 dvd. I'm working on the volcano area to help the Great Valoo. Btw, Komali is kawaii. Those big droopy eyes make me wanna hug him and squeeze him and....*cough* excuse me. My age was regressing for a minute there. I've already beaten this game once. (Before my brother, too, for that matter! Hah hah!)

Suikoden IV - Half a dvd. I'm about to go on my first "official mission". Long boat rides coming up. Blech. I've blazed ahead, so it's good to see that I'll be out of Caelin soon. That place has way too much grey. Someone please discover the color wheel there.

Fire Emblem - I'm on a pirate ship heading for some island in Elwood's story. I've managed to make it this far without losing someone (took a lot of resets).

Lunar Legends - I've gone through the Blue Dragon shrine and am on my way to the Black Dragon. (Ack, I was so close to finishing this game, than my batteries die out while I'm saving! ARRRGGGHHHH!) Oh, a bonus tip for anyone else who has this game (for GBA). Since you can save at anytime, save whenever you're party has been seriously damaged and reset the game. Your characters are fully healed upon start-up. Pretty cool bug, ne? I hope it's a bug at least. ^^;

Pokemon Crystal - Yeah, I know. Pokemon... Personally I don't DO fads. If I like something I genuinely like it. Pokemon isn't a big thing on my list anymore, but it's good to return to the old days. I've started the game over and have decided to do something I haven't done since I first played Pokemon Blue. I'm training ALL my pokemon at the same time. Usually I just pick out my "top 6" and focus all efforts on them. Btw, Johto is the best continent of the threesome in my opinion, so the Gold/Silver/Crystal line is my favorite schtick. ^^

Soul Calibur II - Just recording each character's stories and endings. Not in the mood to do much else.

I'm pretty sure that's everything. Oh crud, I forgot Pap made chicken. Now it's cold. AHHH! See ya!

~GhostlyMaiden~

I'm BAAAA-Wha?

Hey, why's my journal empty? Oh well, I'm back, y'all. I need to finish reconfiguring my laptop and reinstalling a few programs, so no time to chat. Buh-bye!
