Well I'm glad the multiplayer feels like CoD4 or Halo 3, and not Resistance 1:?BudsMcGreen

Yea, this is right. I didn't even play R1's multi that much. I was on Gears of War WAY more. I didn't find the time to play R1.

With that said, I put in a lot of time on H3 and COD4. I can tell you that it plays like a mixture of them. Best way to put it, it plays like H3 with a sprint button.

Yet it feels like it's own game.

WOw dont comare great games like halo 3 and cod4 to sequels to mediocre flops like resistance 2.Gh0st_Of_0nyx

I highly doubt this game flops. It's going to have a longer campaign than COD4 for sure, and it'll give Halo3 a run on the multiplayer. And it has the best co-op out of the bunch. I'm very confident that this game will prove the haters wrong.

I'm definitly getting it also. I signed up for the beta but I didn't get in :(. The fact that this game has a different single player, co-op, and online altogether is awesome. How are the new weapons btw?SolidGame_basic

From the beta, I can say that I think Orick will be a classic map. It's perfect for any amount of people on there. I can play that map for hours non stop.

San Fran is also very fun but it's a smaller map, it's ideal for Deathmatch. The environment and the space crafts in the sky look awesome.

Chicago is a difficult map. It's alright to me. But at this point I like Orick more for big matches. Chicago is decent, but you'll get owned there you're first couple of times playing it.

That's what messageboards are for.

I see people calling the game generic and haven't even played it. Those same people more than likely played Halo3 and COD4. My point is if you enjoyed those games I find it hard to believe you wouldn't like R2.

Yo don't get me wrong. I had my doubts about how much I would be enjoying this game's multiplayer. But after trying out the beta and really diving into the game I can say that this game is flat out DOPE.

The game plays like a mixture of COD4 and Halo3. Yes that's a good combination. The maps are HUGE. 60 player fire fights that give you a real war hectic type feeling. It's not a clustered mess of death when you respawn either. There's been more than a couple of times where I had to look for my enemies even when there's 40+ people in the match

If you like Halo you need to check this game out, if you like COD4 check this game out. It's more on the Halo3 side of things but it's got influences from both to make it fresh.

Oh and the graphics won't WOW you but they hold up damn good considering all the stuff going on at once. I'm pretty sure the single player will look better though. Anyway, this game is getting bought day 1.

On top of this, NOTHING will replace being able to have a hardcopy of a movie.

I don't think net speeds will be reliable enough for people to want to download a movie with the sound and picture quality of a Blu-Ray movie 5 years from now. HDD space will have to be upped a lot from what the norm is today.

I think DD could work with the TV providers much like it already is as far as people paying for channels and movies on PPV. But as far as downloading 1080p movies with uncompressed sound I wouldn't worry about DD replacing Blu-Ray anytime soon.
