Yep I sold my 360 just before it broke to a friend, he played it for 2 days and it broke, he went back to walmart bought a new one and took the other one back and said it was defective :P good idea

thats strange I thought there is a 30 day return policy on open items? so u had to have it for less then a month when you sold it too him? Y didnt you just return it then and get the full money back? doesnt make sense :S

Were dose M$ admit to these flaws about the 360 because I first heard of the RRoD on SW are there any other problems like that that I need to know For example I didnt know about this problem "destroy discs because of slight movement"murat8

just look it up, the articles been reported on most major gaming sites including gamespot...and the 3 year warranty they give u now wasnt for no reason ya know. the 360 has a MAJOR design flaw which basically means that every sing 360 to this date can break down ala RROD and also the disc drive scratces the disks abit(but im not too sure if they fixed that one or not in the new models)

well ive decided that this holiday season I will buy an xbox 360, originally i was going to wait for the release of LO before buying one, but alas i cannot resist...

1.so my question to you guys is, what REALLY is the failure rate of 360's is it as bad as it sounds?

2.and also what games would u recommend. also just to let you know i did not own the first xbox so i never really played halo etc. Are there any good single player games i can buy/look forward too?

3.also since ive never really played online, is it better if i get the core model?

( also i own a ps3 and Wii)
