its really not a big change. i owned both machines. but had the PS1 when it first came out & the original Xbox. i had to learn each one. after learning the PS1, the change to Xbox wasnt that big of a deal. although i prefer a Sony controller over an Xbox controller, any day. less bulky.
weird. it might be an EA thing with their servers. all of those games you just mentioned are EA games.
they usually state if its a maintenance thing when it goes down for logging in. but ive never had issues like that. i know 360 had issues with Call of Duty a few times when it first came out, with Activisions servers due to their being too many people online & them not being prepared for it. i doubt that this is the same thing but EA does have issues with disconnection problems. i dont play alot of EA games & if i do they tend to be out for quite a while before i get them. they have alot of these same issues also with EA PC games.
ive never had terrible disconnection problems. the only time is when they have maintenance in the store or sometimes when playing or logging on. but that doesnt bother me much.
it isnt game breaking, to where it stops me from playing games. maintenance happens on PC as well as some games can disconnect on there but its usually due to the game with PC. ive also had disconnect problems with the 360 as well as maintenance but ya, it honestly doesnt bother me.
they tend to give subscribers 1-5 free games a week. generally the games range from games that came out 3 months ago or longer. plus they give PS+ subscribers access to beta testing of new games coming out. theyve done this with quite a few titles.
i have over 100 games free from having PS+. i look forward to every tuesday & have been diligent about grabbing whatever free items they give. if i dont like a game, i can just erase it but its a really good setup for subscribers.
i remember they even gave me credit back for being a long time subscriber, which i thought was quite a nice incentive as well
