Most of the time, scizor doesn't have the free turn to pass SD boost, because most of its counters kill it on a single fire attack AND outspeed, so Baton Pass isn't a good option. Roost is better, nulifying the damage taken on the turn you SD'ed.

Also, the lack of Brick Break make this set easy to be walled by any Stell pokemon.

Name other racing game for DS that can possibly match MKDS while still having both tight controls, that much unlockable stuff and online play.

And that is exactly the problem with most DS racing games. On the other hand MKDS has everything anyone would want, so why bother buying anything else?

It's a good game, but is a little too easy for my tastes, and the talking sequences are pretty long. Even then, the rest of the game make up for it.
