Starting with the good news.

My friend showed me a new novel series for me to read. I read the second and I'm now on the fourth book in the series. He's only missing the 1st and 3rd books in the series. Here's a pic of the 4th book.

It's really good. I might give out an impression later.

The bad news is I probably won't be on GS very much, beause of the ugly news.

The ugly news is that my comp got a major case of spyware.:( Our protection wasn't good enough, so I'm traveling around sites looking for spyware removal software.:( My dad opened an e-mail for a credit card registration, and the rest is history. Most of them are cookies, but the symptoms were appearing and the hard drive erasing symptom was about to be next. I got most of them out (espeially the cookies which were more than half of the good cookies), but there are always some lurking here or there, so I'm trying to suff them out.

I started working on my design document for one of my games to enter into the next Developer for a Day contest next year. It's coming along quite nicely. I'm close to the halfway point, but it had to take a backseat to my schoolwork.:(

Yesterday, I went to see Iron Man. That was worth the money.:D I really liked how Tony Stark would still crack jokes even in the worst situation. I especially liked

[spoiler] when they foreshadowed the Avengers. Samuel L as Lt.Fury was a good choice. I wonderif they'll make a movie of it, and if so, who will play Thor? [/spoiler]

In gaming news-

A rep for the GH series (I forget his name) says that GH4 will come with the game, a guitar, a drum set, and a mic. I think they took the "If you can't beat them, join them" saying a little too far. How will this affect Rock Band 2, or even its(GH4) own sales? I know people don't like to buy games that copy each other down to the last code. One difference is that Gh4 will come with a song creator. Players can create their own songs and post them online (on Xbox live or PSN. I'm not sure about the Wii yet, I haven't read all of the article in GI). So will this eliminate all the custom song videos on youtube? I don't know yet, but this is getting interesting in the rhythm genre.

When I get the game, I'm adding this song first, this other song second, and this song last immediately!:D

In other news, GTAIV has made over $500 million for Rockstar. Woah. All I can say is this- Jackpot!

Last night, I was watching GametrailersTV on Spike. For those who don't know what that is, it's like X-Play and Attack of the Show, but actually has quality in the show. It is GameHeads, but just with a different name. To sum it up, it's by the people who run Gametrailers(hence the name:P).

I'm still training in Brawl. I've unlocked all characters and modes. I'm now trying for tracks and stages.

Hi guys. How are all of you doing?

This week I will have the TAKS testing, so I might not be on too much this week. Also this week, Iron Man is being released!:D I really want to see it, but I have no clue when I'll see it.

My friend let me borrow The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past from him. I really liked Phantom Hourglass, so I thought I hould try some of the older games. I haven't started it yet, but I will once I get some free time.

Code Geass, on of my favorite animes, has started airing in the US on Adult Swim. One of the funny things about it is that they rated it TV-14, but they show it at 12:30AM on Saturday, while not earlier. I'm watching the second season of this called Code Geass: Leouch of the Rebellion R2 subbed. It's pretty good. The only thing that took off from the experience was how the first episode of R2 was so similar to the first episode from the first season.

If you remember some of my previous blogs, I posted 2 songs about the PS3 and 360, and how the song exploits their flaws. Now, there is a song for the Wii. It's pretty funny, but some facts they say are just for insulting the Wii(like the Wii Sports thing).

What do you personally think of fanboys? Do you think they help the gaming industry or do they harm it?

Personally, I think they harm the industry. Instead of just accepting other opinions, they just harass you until you give into their side or leave the forum thread.This doesn't end at the console war, this goes deep into the genres too. Genres like music and rhythm games are split between Rock Band and Guitar Hero 3. With RPGs, it's between WRPGs and JRPGs.People are arguing with each other saying Final Fantasy is better than the Elder Scrolls series, which is not true since they are two different kinds of games, just in the same genre. Pressuring others to your ideas will not make them side with you, but it will make you look like a cazy person. By pressuring others, you lose their respect for you.

With that being done, I have started working on Reaper. If you don't remember it, follow this link to it. The characters are fleshed out pretty well and some spells have been made. The leveling system is killing me though. Man, it's hard to think about how it should be. I have how the whole series will begin and end too. If it was developed now, it would be for the PSP.

The other game idea I had was created before Reaper, but it went all over the place, so I had to remove some things I found irrelevant. It's title so far is "Crisis", but it would remind you of FFVII a little bit.

The newest game idea I have been working on is further than both previous games. I'm still deciding on the name for it, but here's a vid that will help you get an idea for the game.

If you haven't heard already, the DS remake for Final Fantasy 4(was previously FF2 on the SNES) is arriving stateside July 22. I'm so glad SE decided to send it outside Japan. I've been waiting for this game for months. I think I can wait a few more months for it;)

Yeah, I got tagged too, so here it goes.

1. I think Final Fantasy 7 is highly overrated, which is one of the reasons why I got the original one, just to see what the fuss is about. It's good, but not the greatest game ever like I've been hearing for awhile.

2. My computer runs on Windows 2000 Professional. I want to get Vista, but it costs so much.

3. A year ago, I had a little crush on Hayden Panettiere. Follow the link if you don't know who she is(she is a VA in a certain game series). She had a great smile that captured my attention. I could go on, but I won't:P I still like her a little bit:oops:

4. My new abridged series that I watch is Death Note abridged series by Team Dattebayo. It's so hilarious:lol:

5. I can't play any GTA game. Not because of the content, but because I get migranes that hurt so bad, my eyes water up when I start to play the games. Interestingly enough it goes away after I turn the game off.

6. I have a Crisis Core theme on my PSP.

7. My favorite tv show now is Gundam 00.

8. One of my favorite recent movies is Jumper.

9. I go to GameTrailers a lot more now. Mainly because of ScrewAttack.

10. When I was first playing FFX, I got so far in the game, that I didn't want to turn it off and lose all that progress(I had to go to bed), so I left my PS2 on for 24 hours(had to go to school too). When I got home, I played it and it worked normally too:D
